I found the God in stone
Uncarved. Unchiseled

Enormous mountain
Filled in green
Air caressing the trace
Swishing the leaves to lean

Exuded with the petrichor
I get wished by the rain.

Every atom around the mountain
spreading peace with its presence

There I found the God, in stone.
There I found the God, in stone.

Kareena
Porcelain skin and a tiny frame
She's so lifelike it's surreal
Shirley Temple hair and an English name
Hollow inside, but a shiny seal
Beauty can be deceiving

Bound like a page,
her hungry eyes ravage me.
With deep focus,
I observe and see.
The commotion of thoughts and emotion
flowing like over like an ocean into a sea
I'm lost in her world
drowning in her beauty
Breathing heavily
gasping at the being.
Her presence overpowering me
my heart beating like a symphony
body shivering like a leaf on a tree
the glimpse of her;
the reality that is a fantasy.
Her beautiful lips melting into me,
moaning as we grind, taking our time,
letting the moment, set us free.
Her body craving me like vitamin she need,
Me feeding her energy with eager and greed.
Hips in holy matrimony,
riding each other like pony.
Sending chills racing down her spine,
then up the other side of  me.
bodies wrapped in one another like a twine.
intertwined like a vine,  her body reminiscent of  mine.
our worlds aligned, so naturally we are inclined.

It's my birthday,
I can cry if I want to.
Why is this life so much
Harder without you?
It's my birthday...

It's mesmerizing
How your eyes look into mine
It's radiating
This intense feeling of heat
Something I just can't define
It's solid ground to stand on
It's concrete

It will never waver
Never wander
Never want for anything new
This feeling is yours
And it's mine
Me and you, babe
We'll make it through

OK. Today may be dull. It happens. Sure.
But tomorrow remains rife with possibilities.

Hillary wins at Detroit poetry slam.
Jihadists explode poodles in crosswalks.
Island countries wave & grin as they sink.
***** flicks found starring Merkel and Putin.
A sane, reasonable presidential election.
Angry cats with opposable thumbs rebel.
Men & women speaking & understanding each other.
Brock Turner announces *** change operation.
God announces: No More Mulligans!
Gender wars conclude. Everyone’s dead.
Debut of lost Bach Partita for Electric Kazoo.
New, hip-hop production of Treblinka: The Musical.
Shakespeare cloned. Buys poetry anthology. Dies.
End-up, instead of start-up, launches in Palo Alto.
Smart phones install apps with annoying ads on users.
Common sense becomes common again.

i loved you

do you remember how much i loved you?
i do.

i remember it like the soft breeze blowing in my hair
nice, yet chilly.

what i remember the most is the words that i uttered
that last fight
when you got tired of trying (or maybe pretending)
to accept me
and i got so fed up with you never accepting me
after all those years.

i remember how i walked out so confidently
without looking back
when all i wanted was to turn back
run to you
hold you
and tell you
'please don't give up.'

but i didn't.

i remember how much i wanted you
to come back and tell me you're sorry,
tell me we could make this work.

but you never did.

and i was too proud to say the truth.

because truth is,
i still care.
i think i'll always care.

though if anyone asks me,
i'll never admit it.
more than you think i do
