Not exactly proud of it
Just don't have the time

No teeth or claws
Nothing really but hunger

Not begging or choosing
Just desperate for something to eat

And when we find something, anything
It becomes disgusting.

But we don't care
We don't have a choice
It's not like we will get to see
Another day

So we feed.

And we feed..

There's a star in the sky
Which shines so bright
Whenever I look at it
It pulls me closer
But it's so far from me ...
Farther than I want it to be
Even if I want to
I can't pull it close to me
It's like a free bird
Independent .. Ethereal .. yet so familiar
Oh how I wish it was always with me ...
But I guess that's Life.
You can't always have
                             What you Wish for.

This wall that you built
between us,

laid down in solid indifference
and mortared with silence,

was it built to protect you
or me?

It's scary how much I love you.

So much I can't comprehend.

It's scary how much I need you.

And how far I am willing to bend.

I scare myself when I'm alone at night.

The world empty, alone with my thoughts.

And how I know I will always love you.

Even once my pale bones start to rot.

Once in my life I have shown my face
Then regretted afterwards.
I trusted.
I failed.
And promised I won’t be the same.

Once in my life I have worn my veil
That covers my facade
I pretended
I hid
And I became contented being a shadow.

Once in my life I lost my strength
And learned how to become weak.
But I heard my inner voice
I saw myself in the mirror
And I was awakened.

Once again, I am going to show my face
I want to try
I want to believe
That I’ll be in peace without my veil
Once more...
Unveiling myself...

Life is to short
to go through it in a blur.

Life is to short,
to fight with friends.

Life is to short,
to push the ones you love away.

Life is to short,
to worry about silly things.

You need to slow down
and enjoy the world around you.

Because you never know,
it may change in a blink of an eye

You need to stop
taking things for granted.

Because you don't know what you have,
till it is taking away from you,

Life is to short
to go through it in a blur.

Life is to short,
to fight with friends.

Life is to short,
to push the ones you love away.

Life is to short,
to worry about silly things.

So do take it slower
Or you might regreat it later

Its one thing for me
to bring up my past
It means I'm ready
to Face my demon

its another thing entirely
when you Bring up my past
It means your ready
To taunt me

STOP
BRINGING
UP
MY
PAST

I dont live there anymore.

Shall I be happy because you smile
Or sad because you frown
All the anger that you harbor
Shall I let it bring me down

Governed by the rules of existence
We are one yet divided
Stuck with each other in this realm
Such is coincidentally pre-decided

Seems that we are bound to this dimension
And death is but a lie
Fabricated to motivate us
Causing us to arrive

Perhaps we’re recycled spirits
Living lives without end
Or merely momentary life forms
Being judged by our sins

Yet we are all here together
In this universe quite naïve
Yet hate is not genetic
And true love does not deceive...
