one llucy
Both* the apple and your lips were *poison
Your mouth tainted with the forbidden fruit.

But I wanted you
I wasn't unsuspecting.

you were the snake
everyone knew you were the villain.

And that is why I kissed you
and took your deadly gift.
There is an ache in my chest
There is a hollowness in me
Waiting to be filled
Hoping someone might see

I knew a girl once
She seemed to have it all right
She smiled and she laughed
She shined an innocent light

Then life stained her soul
Life broke her heart
No one seems to notice
She had already fallen apart

She hides behind a tentative smile
She covers all the pain
Little do you know
She cries like the rain

She doesn't show her feelings
She says she's okay
She laughs to show you
She's forgotten yesterday

Yet yesterday tears her down
She cannot shake the sorrow
She can only hope for something better
She hopes for a better tomorrow

That girl i know
Yes, she is me
I hide behind fake smiles
So no one else can see

My life is falling apart
It's coming apart at the seams
But I'll manage withoutyou
Cause I've shattered my own dreams.

lost girl
I am trying hard
but I can't seem to hide
those fears
that I keep
very
deep
inside

Again and again
Those same words you promised
you wouldn ' t say
Even when it causes us both pain
And take away laughter from the
way we play
This must be a boomerang I dare
say .

The bet is made and the cards laid
The path we must here create
The path to that place of bliss we ' ve
prayed
And away from the destination we
dread
Though we momentarily strayed
Back to the right track we ' ve
always steered.

Look with your minds eyes
And you will see the beauty of these
fields
Where true love , in wait, lies
Always ready and handy with his
shield
To fence us from tears and sties
From all our wrongs in words and
deeds.

We may ail but love always heals
Let it hurt a little
For it is a lot better than all lost
I love the way the rain feels on my skin
Washing away everything I've painted on it
Leaving me totally raw
Literally.
New life springs forward and takes hold of this old planet,
Old beings die,
They can no longer handle it,
Leaves bud,
Fresh infants cry,
The fall is done,
You’ve landed,
In a patch of life,
Petals are stranded,
There will be no more strife.

How
How are you supposed to find beauty in a battlefield?
How are you supposed to like education, when your being brainwashed?
How are you supposed to follow a religion, when their a thousand different translations?
How are you supposed to pick one, when you love them all?
How is it so hard to be truthful, then to be a liar?
How are you supposed to be okay, when you can't even tell yourself your okay?
How are you supposed to be a role model, when you don't even have one to look up to?
Just how?
Your laugh
Your smile
Your face
A joke
You never did mean
The lies that you spoke

I eat it
Nothing is as much sweet

I drink it
Nothing has ever tasted like it
Not even the finest of wines

I inhale it
Nothing sustains like it
The purest form of oxygen.

I surf on it
Unimagined beauty
Not even the biggest tide

I fly on it
Higher than any pair if wings can take you
No even those of an eagle

I puke it
And I lick all of it
It taste as fresh as from the oven.

Nothing compares to poetry
Ask every poet
He/she will tell you same.
