You catch life
one tear at a time
to one day
fill an ocean.
I heard you liked short poems, so here's one for you.

You came to me an angel.
With gleaming eyes, seduced.
Around your head a halo,
now become my noose.

The stars shine bright

as the moon emits light

It's all prettier than I write

I write about depression

My obsessions

and my daily confessions

It's easier to write

than to fight

most of the time

I write by candlelight

or so I wish

I instead write by a LED light

The one I bought on wish

but that's not the important bit

The sun & the moon

will always upstage

this fool

after all,

they're too

**** beautiful

Life has been one a hell of a ride,
Sometimes it gets so hard that I just wanna hide.
****, I used to be so so happy while growing up,
Don't get too close now I'll give you up.
It hasn't been easy for me,
I know it's hard to believe with all the lies u see.
I'll give anything for the fame,
Yes, I'll do anything to make u know my name.
Don't tell me to take my time,
I know I'll shine.
Don't tell me I'll be fine,
I just want what's mine

Under the blossoming tree
Lays her bed of stone,
Crafted by her alone,
Maiden now of bone,
Together for eternity,
Shall never be alone.
She lays with hair tangled,
While petals lie mangled.
She lays in a rest unknown,
With her warrior of stone,
Keeping her calm...
Like the roots of a great vine
In a loving embrace

It’s night
I’m sitting in a bar,
Sipping a foreign strange tea
That makes my tongue numb,
And my brain calm.
There’s faint tribal music playing
Incense burning
Evaporating
The raw feeling
In the back of my head
From picking apart my brains.
There he is,
Silver hair,
Twinkling boyish laughter,
And eyes that I catch wandering.

After a few drinks
I recline in one of the arm chairs
My head tilts back
Over the cushion
Neck stretched
Hair tumbling down behind the chair
In a red waterfall,
Loose shirt
Falling down my body
Exposing my *******.
He walks by,
And lingers just an extra second.
He told me he was looking
And that I have beautiful skin.

A free drink,
A heavy handed pour,
Feeling his gaze
Burning into my body,
Down my head,
Neck,
Shoulders,
Small of my back,
Everything,
Drinking me in
As I walk away.
He told me himself.

Silver hair,
An eighty’s rocker,
Singer songwriter,
An interesting story
In a tempting binding.

If I have daddy issues,
Maybe he’s how I explore them.

My father
Has been a Man
All his life
And I capitalize Man
Because his terms
Of masculinity
Include being
The Man

He doesn’t like the word
“No”
Unless it’s in his voice
And under his control

Control is his ego
I think
He likes a grip on everything
So tight it chokes us
And he wonders why
I’m slipping away
