Silence Screamz
I hear the silence
ringing my ear.
It's eerily piercing
no one can hear.

Blocking the sound,
getting much closer.
Dripping in sweat,
terror no venture.

Shackled with chains,
bound to cold steel.
Can't break away,
madness come feel.

Padded inside,
ceiling all white,
Ninety four tiles,
count every night.

Shadows walk by,
steps by the dozen.
Sitting in darkness,
silence and frozen.

The lights go on.
the lights go off.
Sanity is gone.
NOW GO *******!!

Nothing but nice,
I don't usually think twice,
Fire fuels my soul not ice,
Sorry but I took the last slice,
Happiness has no price,
Risk gives your life some spice,
Don't pass up rolling the dice,
....but HEYY...that's just my advice
You never know how effective words are, they're a stealthy device
I have been to the deep blue
Where my faith had tested my fears
Boundries were crossed
And I had raised my own waters
So high, the sun began to disappear
It was dark there in the shallow
My heart was racing, time running
As my body submerged into- suspence
While the deep I faced challenges
Many creature's in Adam's ale
Shark attacks and eel whip lash
Fish that snap and jelly fish stings
Not knowing there are lessons taught here
I earned trust in faith and I rise again
On the pier I lay sprawled
In all my glory to the sky
It started to pour showers of healing
I rose from drowning, losing breath
Now free to continue my journey
In this baptism on my crown
I had been ready for this world
And these storms blossemed rain showers
Over everything I had faced
Will continue to remind me again
It can't remain stromy forever.

the average human
describes their heartbeat
as a thud-thud or a few
rough pats to the chest.

i fall asleep with my ear
pressed up against your
chest. all i can hear is the
echo of a captain yelling,
"let me sink...let me sink..."
i ask you how you would
describe your heartbeat,
you point to the ship
in the bottle mounted on
your father's bookshelf
& faintly say
"the glass bottle keeps the
ship from sinking, completely
blocking out the captain's wish
to learn how to breathe
underwater because air just
isn't doing its job with keeping
him alive."

your break up letter to me
went a little something like;

"you were built in the fire,
stop acting like you burn in it.
you were never made to be fragile,
you were never made to be my glass."

my plead for you to stay
went a little something like;

(20) Missed Calls

your final goodbye
went a little something like;

a thud thud to the pavement.

& my final goodbye was
cracking open a bottle on your
headstone & standing in the sea
with the water rising up to
my knees, with a small ship in
the palm of my hand, a dunk
underneath the tide & a faint
whisper, *"breathe."

He is sitting there across the way,
walks up to her thinking but has nothing to say.
She is the most beautiful girl he has ever seen.
would she be like the others, would she be mean?

She glances up with the most beautiful eyes,
as he turns around he started to cry.
suddenly a hand grabbed his wrist,
the story now has a twist.

"Please come sit with me, there's room for another"
he's never loved any girl besides his mother.
he sits down nervous , yet tame
finnaly speaks "can I please  have your name?"

he drinks his coffee as he stares across the room.
the daydream he had will be real soon.
she gives him a smile as he looks at the door,
He gets up and says "don't look so alone anymore"

They sit down and laugh all through breakfast.
two soul mates together at last.
If it wasn't for that coffee shop one day ,
never would they ever feel that way.

"just give me ten more minutes"
you slide your hand on snooze;
you live in black and white
and see just what you choose

then mute life's little whispers
close blinds from whats to come
radiating dreams of color
then wake to siri's drum

"just give me five more minutes"
you hit your phone once more
the neon overtakes your brain
your conscience hits the floor

Have you ever read a book,
So sad it made you cry?
Have you ever read a book,
So much that you felt high?
Have you ever read a book,
So real you felt in sync?
Have you ever read a book,
So sensual you turned pink?

Have you ever watched a movie,
So dynamic you wish you could fly?
Have you ever watched a movie,
So convincing you'd comply?
Have you ever watched a movie,
So awesome you couldn't blink?
Have you ever watched a movie,
So perplexing it made you think?

Have you ever imagined these stories,
And really wished them to be true?
Have you ever sat and realized,
That these stories helped shape you?
Just a quick poem I wrote as I sat and watched one of my favorite shows and realized how much some things really shape us sometimes without you really noticing.

Dear Edgar,
We've never met,
But I know why you walked the streets
Of Baltimore at 4 am.
I too walk the streets of my own mind,
Hearing the raven's cries
And walking up at midnight to the sound of a tell-tale heart
Wondering if it is nothing more
Than the bells in my brain
Or the black cat running up the alleyway.
Dear Edgar,
We've never met,
But I know why you walked the streets
Of Baltimore at 4 am.
I took have whisked into the shadows
An inky cloak upon my back
Wondering whether my heart feels more like a pit or a pendulum
Or whether I will fall like the house of usher,
A gold bug
In the masque of red death.
Dear Edgar,
We've never met,
But I know why you walked the streets of Baltimore at 4 am.
Never more
William Wilson.
And silence- a fable,
Or is it?
