If I could vacuum-clean
all of the dark clouds
from the sky above your head,
I would.

If I could make the sun shine
after stopping the rain,
I would.

If I could send you
an everlasting rainbow
to brighten-up all of your days,
I would.

If I could shoot
a wishfilled falling star
your way,
I would.

For you, if I could,
I would!

A little prayer for my family and friends.
Dedicated to anyone going through hardships.
If I could, I would!
***

I truly appreciate this prayer making the daily! All thanks be to God!
I was passing through my childhood
on a bike
to the delight of flying with the balloons

من از کودکی هایم می گذشتم
بر چرخی که می راندم
...تا شوق به پرواز درآمدن با بادبادک ها

I stood in the February snow
the freezing sleet
no boots
no coat
Steam wafting off my fury

My father read the lie
two hundred yards away
and walking toward me

So I owned it
told it
With a snarl
Without a flinch
Both knowing

I held my ground before him
and wore the red of his hand
on my face for a week
Thank you everyone for the views and comments.  The Daily was a nice surprise this evening.

There were five of us kids.  I was the only one who ever did anything like this.  It was like my father needed someone to stop him sometimes.

My father asked, "What are you doing out here?"
I lied,  "Getting some air."

I want
to scale the mountains,
to watch the sun set on their horizons,
to hide out in dense forests,
to run away into the wild,
to be as far away as possible
from these animals
called human beings.*

I still remember
Your bright eyes
Your innocent smile
As you walked through the flowers
How you made everything better
And the whole world looked at you
Like you were the brightest star
I remember your sweet smell
How you aspired freedom
Despite of everything.
And I'm sure you always knew
The place you keep in my heart
And that you will remain there
Even after you're gone.
Little star,
Please remember me
Wherever you are.

We spend our whole life
Trying to fit into a solid ground.
But perhaps we're like the ocean
And our waves
Cannot be tamed.

Our hearts
Felt bloods
Infusing serenity
Into one another's bodies.

And it felt right.

what i write
is a reflection
about my life.
life has taught me how to write.

Your lips move slowly,
yet, in this moment
there is silence.
Your warm breath
caresses my face.

And with anticipation
I don't need words.
Everything you need to say
is whispered in your thoughts
and echoed by your fingertips.

Your touch is thunderous,
resounding deep within us
penetrating all my defenses,
filling that space between us.
In these moments I submit.

Powerless to resist this passion.
Ecstasy and lightning entwined,
flashes of lust and love
spark from skin to skin,
as the silent storm surges over us.

Briefly the world is muted.
Only you and I exist, fully exposed.
Vulnerable, we surrender completely,
trusting this silence to satisfy
our unquenchable appetite.
Thanks Elizabeth J for allowing me to collaborate with you on this poem. It was my pleasure!
