Chaos
Yesterday was tough
Tougher than before
It broke me down inside
Left me crumbled on the floor
But then I remembered
the semicolon

Today was hard
Harder than before
It killed my soul a little
Left me bleeding on the floor
But then I remembered
the semicolon

A small mark
Seems insignificant
But when examined further
Becomes magnificent
An authors way
Of saying hold on
don't give up just yet
there is plenty more to come

Tomorrow will be painful
More painful than before
It will break me down
Leave me broken on the floor
But I will remember
Forever more
That small, simple mark
Giving out hope for all

I like to take a dip in the poetry well
when my life seems to be dry
I like to take a dip in the poetry well
when I question why
I like to take a dip in the poetry well
when I lost the courage to try something new
I like to take a dip in the poetry well
when I need encouragement then I get it from you
I like to take a dip in the poetry well
to ease some anxiety
I like to take a dip in the poetry well
let my emotions swell
I take to take a dip in the poetry well
while holding paper and a pen
I like to take a dip in the poetry well
where inspiration never ends
I like to take a dip in the poetry well
where I can gather with my friends
This is for All My Hello Poetry Friends!!!!
Thank You so much for your friendship and encouragement!!!

People said, I am off age,
but I always felt I am just average,
Here I am, with no direction to my rage
but your faith gives me strength

Hurt by a few, shattered by some more,
lost a loved one, shaken to the core,
I feel lost, can't take it anymore
but your faith gives me strength

Strong in cover but frail inside,
within my bubble crouched, I hide,
reminded of falls, I dare not ride
but your faith gives me strength

For you, my dear, I can be anyone,
do anything to have you for a while,
because you are my reason to smile,
for you I will travel any **** length
*because its only your faith that gives me strength
This is one of my personal favorites and very close to my heart.

You're giving me love
When I feel unlove
You're giving me peace
When I'm in chaos

You're giving me joy
When I'm unhappy
You're giving me comfort
When I'm in pain

You're giving me provision
When I have nothing
You're giving me strength
When I feel weak

How grateful I am
Having someone to lean on
Hoping that You'll see me
Having a grateful heart.

To my first love,
The man who would always be in my dreams,
To the guy I want to be with me till the end of time,
My knight in shinning armor,
Now, I want to be your princess willing to slay any monster who would dare to hurt you.

Love,
Your daughter
Happy father's day

I’ve always wanted to have a friend
Someone who’d be there until the end
A companion through moments of hardship
Not a deserter who just decides to skip

I’ve always wanted to have a friend
Someone who’s loyalty would never bend
Together with trustworthiness and honesty
He’s not a deceitful liar who just manipulates me

I’ve always wanted to have a friend
To have a bond no price could comprehend
For neither money, nor jewelry could ever replace
A friendship’s bond, an everlasting embrace
Will you be my friend?  :)

Sitting here,
watching it rain

trying to count the ripples
in the puddles reflecting
clouded skies overhead,
slowly expanding circles
silently flowing outward,
disappearing at the edge
and they mesmerize me
as I find my thoughts
drifting past each tiny
glistening droplet
falling from the eaves,
rhythmically splashing
to once again see you,
my beautiful sunny day
shining down from above,
warming my heart and
drenching me with your love

and I no longer notice…
*it is raining

You ask me,
Do I miss you?
How can I miss you?
You are always with me,
Your face behind my eyes,
Your soul sleeping in my heart,
The essence of you dances for me,
Sinuous curves shimmy within shadows.

You ask me,
Do I love you?
You should be asking,
How much you love me?
Then measure that feeling,
Holding it tightly deep inside,
Knowing that I feel just the same,
With every single fibre of my being.

You ask me,
Do I miss you?
Perhaps, I might sigh,
The very truth, though,
Is that I miss you terribly,
Is that part of me aches for you,
Though we are intrinsically entwined,
Sometimes, such closeness is not enough.

You ask me,
Do I love you?
Do you need to ask?
I live and breathe you,
As you live and breathe me,
Your roads lead to me, woman,
I am by your side, holding your hand,
One day, we will surely arrive together.

You ask me,
Do I miss you?
Everyday baby,
Never doubt it is so,
My pain is like your own,
Insomnia, numbing, yearning,
Hiding tears in the soft darkness,
But knowing, we will be free, one day.

Created while walking around woodland. 24th May 2015. First poem I memorized off by heart for quite awhile, so posted it here. This deals with love found in friendship, accepting feelings that cannot be changed, living a relationship physically separated, while emotions remain linked and trust and honour remains intact. We cannot help how we feel, but we can be true to ourselves and others.

She wears her heart
out like a big deal.
Cause she believes
that love is real. She
believes that it exists
and can mend what's
been broken and
bent* ~
I'm happy!
Not because everythings fine but because I'm alive,
And life itself is hope enough!
I'm happy because its a new day,
I'm happy because I'm able to write
I'm happy because I know people who love me
I'm happy because life spent upset is wasted,
I'm happy because no matter what happens to me,time brings all things to pass and life goes on.
So many reasons to be happy, you only need to count your joy and you'll realise that the good things are more than the bad.
