Shadow wars with sun
Roosting in steeple of church
Black eyes of raven

Doves lit in the spires
Two lovers kiss in temple
Unringing the bells

Mister Golden Sun,*
Dives in the cool pool of clouds
*For he too, feels hot.

No matter the good,
I can't shake this loneliness.
No-one can hear me.

Flowers lift their heads
To look at your lovely face
Yellow is this day!

Wine glass lay empty
toppled on the ground...its edge
smeared with red lipstick

Luster braved the dark
opals, sapphires couldn't hide
a face...so lovely

Stilled...supine...voiceless
stripped of fame...name...evil game!
success? envy? shame?

Opals, bright sapphires,
graced her neck...muted...like the
doe-eyed beauty...dead.
