I can not overcome on my own, but with Christ strength I can.
I can overcome all things through Christ whom strengthen me.
First of all, my life is not my own but it belongs to Christ, he save me.
So you see my life is not about me, yes my flesh wants it to be so.
But when I cried out to my Creator, I ended up giving it to him.
For in turn he has rescue me, and given me so much more in return.
He is the Christ , and he went to the cross over2000 years ago.
So that he could become sin and save us from the death that we deserve.
So yes he is my Savior, my rescuer, my best friend, and my God.

Your children roam the gridlocked streets
hand-in-cardboard, feet firmly on uneven ground,
eyes heavy with the rubble of their foreclosed homes.
They live in grocery carts.

Forget Fifth Avenue, or the Villages,
or the cobblestone streets of young and old,
or the unseen gates of Striver’s Row.
Your heart lies by the subway stations
that ring with the songs of a lonely old man,
his teeth yellowed, but voice golden,
asking not for introductions nor coin,
but for a listener.

New York, they cry for you to hear them.
(Your poor, your tired, and your weary)

what do i know
that hasn't been written
the past i throw
the future not given

each syllable speaks
through ancient valleys
through pica peaks
through rain soaked alleys

when i run, my friend
i feel too much
in the world at its end
I'll recall your word's touch

when i read
your thoughts impart
the spaces between you bleed

your ink into my heart

I'm dying
But I'm not dead

I'm fine

I'm bleeding
But there's still blood

I'm fine

I'm suffocating
But there's still air

I'm fine

I'm falling apart
But my core's intact

I'm fine

*I'm lying
I'm not fine

This is just a quick note to hellopoetry site:

Don't know if anyone else noticed this on this site but as for me certain peoples notifications aren't popping up on me page... Though when I look at poem by itself I can see the person liked it yet I'm not seeing it in notification.. Also I noticed when I type peoples name in the search box it won't even show some of them in search box to even find! Though when I see them on one of the poems they liked of mine and click on their picture it takes me to their page?? Mmm something strange going on with this site??.and its shut down four times Maby more last four days .??? Hmm weirdly strange to me h.p weirdly strange lol... Oh and last thing I have to keep hitting the follow button for people for some reason this site keeps making us all hit follow on same people as I've had to do and someone else brought to me why did she have to hit follow on me. When she thought she was following me? Yeah lol

Once upon a time I met a wise man on this road
Called world who told me to avoid haste and go the toad
He said, "say hello before It's time for goodbye
Laugh out loud for there'll be time to cry
Listen while they talk but oppose with silence
Obeying all constants and paying attention to the variance
Take when you are given but never forget even yours shall be taken
Trust strangers more than friends,by friends you're forsaken
Go as far as the road takes you to know exactly what awaits
And roll with the wind, surf waves obeying every cyclone as it rotates
Life is grilled chicken, chew bones while you still have teeth
And if you're given the chance to kiss the lips, **** even the ***
Scream out loud against all odds if you want to be heard
Keep toiling uphill, don't despair for every situation's hard
Opportunity comes once in a lifetime for fools who ain't welcoming
Otherwise build more enchanting doors and she'll always be coming
The sky is only a lower limit for counting your success
Call it a springboard for the ambitious to set some pace for space
Difficult moments are like caterpillars, ensure they ain't dead
And someday they'll be beautiful butterflies instead
Make peace with your enemies, friends cannot be trusted
Otherwise words like treachery and betrayal couldn't have been invented
Say what you need to say, when you need to say it
Some simple words humans hold back when released restore a beat
Much as you get warmth from being embraced and cuddled
The same happens when you do embrace those in cold and hurdled
You may believe walking away from the risks is the answer to every question
But it's the ships that sail far from the shore that never escape mention
Do not waste time being troubled and contemplating your death
Worry more about how you're spending the billions of your breath
So go out there and squeeze sap of joy and contentment out the tree of your life
Every genius is just an idiot who ****** every moment like It were a wife
Though the pain, rise up a heart for those that hurt and suffer.
Though the pain , strength from Christ rises up within your heart
For having pain or suffering does not always make it a bad thing.
Sometimes it become the vessel that Christ uses for your ministry.
Sometimes it defines your heart for others in the same situation.
So do not judge those that have walk through the fire of sorrow.
For because they have been there themselves at one time here.
They relate and Christ can use them to encourage those whom are still there.
To help inspire them to walk through the fire  to the other side to Christ who is waiting.
My body feels abused,

My organs misused,

My systems worn out

I seriously need rest without a

doubt.
Feeling tired
Remember when you couldn’t wait
to show up early and find your place.
Cause you didn’t want to miss a thing.
And your heart was open and ready for change.
Oh, those days.
You were never afraid to sing,
never afraid to lift your hands.
Didn’t care what people would think.

Remember when you weren’t ashamed.
To tell your friends about your faith.
A time when you felt the pain
of just one lost soul that was slipping away.
Your heart was soft, you had radiant eyes,
but slowly the pressures and burdens of life
pulled you into the dark of the night.
But when did you lose your sight?

Cause you were on fire,
and church was more than a place,
and people were more than faces,
and Jesus was more than a name.

Oh you were on fire,
you let life put out the flame.
But he’s still calling out for you
cause he wants to light your heart again.
And set it on fire
Set it on fire.

Turn your eyes, turn your eyes
and don’t forget what it was like
Set me on fire, set me on fire
I wanna hold God’s people close
wanna feel the power of Jesus’ name

Set me on fire
Set me on fire

carrying the wind like

the water ageless and eternal,
dark as a winter cloud,
light as a summer rose.
