A loud booming –
the sound of everything I fear coming true;
of everything I treasure falling apart at the seams,
like the thin thread connecting us snapping into two.

The pitter-pattering –
having everything coming together and then falling apart;
breaking away seems so easy, natural even;
as with all the things that could have been.

The bone-chilling cold –
a feeling that would stop anyone dead in their tracks;
same as your words: sending chills down my spine

Life and sunshine –
absent from your distant gaze past me;
I don't remember the last time your presence enveloped me in warmth

Strangely, all I think about on rainy days is you. You, you, you and just you. Maybe between me and you, the roles have been swapped: you are now cold and unfeeling, and I warm and full of emotion. But foreign isn't always harmful, and safe may not be safe after all. So really, thank you.
I wrote this off the cuff, I hope you like it :)
i.

Salamat, I was abjected now uplifted
Salamat, for the gift of life thou hath gifted;
Salamat, for the lung's thou hath given
Salamat, now I'm free, not a slave, I'm living.

ii.

Salamat, for thy smile in the dark
Salamat, thy beauty is God's spark;
Salamat, once moribund, now shining
Salamat, I'm moving forward, not rewinding.

iii.

Salamat, day's ahead art full of grace
Salamat, queen of Yahweh, messenger to the human race;
Salamat, forever we wilt be
Salamat, empress of Asia, mine Reyna, mine sweet.

Abjected means in archaic biblical terms-  casted out or abject means outcast...
Salamat means- thank you in Filipino tongue.
Moribund means at the point of death..
Plastic smiles,
Plastic bodies,
Plastic lives,
Plastic words,
Fake
Fake
Fake
Fake,
Maybe its the latest trend,
Plastic smile to avoid  being questioned,
Plastic body in hope to be perfected,
Plastic lives to impress and draw attention,
Plastic words to try to fit into some section,
So here's the drill;
A fake smile hurts even more than a teardrop,
A fake body;doesn't change the inner you,and that's what's major
A fake lifestyle,only leaves you stressed out for no good reason,
Fake words,drain you and your conscience.
Be real,be you..there can never be another you,
You're beautiful/handsome;there can never be a more beautiful/handsome you.

Btw
Not everyone goes under the knife coz they hate themselves.for some its a need - I understand.
Let's  work on our inner selves to be at peace with our physical selves atleast.
Him
In your own impulse,
Open the bottle.
Put his breath inside,
Close it.
Put the bottle on your chest,
and sleep...
-d.a
just sleep & think how warm he is…

Once upon a time, I met a girl.
Now, I'm certainly no geologist,
but I can definitely say she rocked my world.
So much so, that I may need to see a psychologist.

This girl was beautiful from head to toe.
Not just because of aspects like personality or aesthetics,
but because she continued to fight her internal foe.
The kind of ceaseless beauty not found in cosmetics.

Sadly, she cannot seem to see herself as I do -
shrugging off compliments or scoffing in disbelief.
She struggles every moment of ever day, yet there is one I rue:
The moment she convinces herself death is the only relief.
Title is a pun on "relief"

My Star

Like a star, you
are completely unstable.
This is certainly true,
it is no fable.

A constant battle, between
your constant auto-criticism,
crushing your self-esteem...
Lashing out with witticism.

And your thoughts coming together
beautiful yet destructive,
yet it's only when it's them you aim to tether
do they tend to get disruptive.

Although I'm under no illusion
and I realise that your beauty can blind,
you create energy like nuclear fusion
and boggle my mind.

Some will be blinded by your brilliance,
others will never fathom your inner struggles.
You will have to find intrinsic stimulants,
and amaze those who watch you juggle

This is a re-visitation of an old poem I wrote.
