love me
how could a heart like yours
love a heart like mine

your heart is full of love.
you dream of life.
you have no regrets.
you live without fear of the future.

my heart is full of-
well it's not full at all:
it's broken; shattered,
into a thousand tiny little pieces.

and somehow, someway,
you were kind enough;
to hunt for every little piece,
and put me back together.

and this is why i,
will never understand,
this silly little thing,
we call love.

Can we get much higher than this?
When all I can hear over the old dial up phone you use is the sound of nicotine exhales
and big sighs caused by silences I am too scared to fill.
Can we love any more than this?
I can hear you humming the song that's spinning and it makes me love you more.
You laugh at my nervousness, how I twitch when you say my name.
I always ignore you because I'm scared you'd say goodbye.
Can we get more tired than this?
Four am, your favorite albums crooning me to sleep.
Could you be more mistaken?
You thought I was scared of your darkness, of the shadows beckoning to you from every corner of
homes you did not own, and people you did not really know... yet.
I have a permanent dent in my ear from piercings that were too heavy for my fragile skin,
and everytime I run my fingertips over it, it reminds me of you.
You are bent but never broken, never broken.
Can we get more distant than this?
It's been months since I could honestly say that I thought you loved me.
So many miles, so many miles, so many

miles...
You're 874 kilometres away from me.
You are universes away from me.
And now everything tastes like goodbye.
Drawing images using some words
Telling some stories that are unheard
Stealing the moment, freezing the time
Killing the beast that vultures the mind

Spilling blood, the pen is our knife
Collecting traces from this mysterious life
Connecting dots to create a line
Polishing stones to make it shine

Our words are riddles, a must to decode
Giving multiple key for them to unload
The meaning of some could make readers insane
If wrongly unlock it will conquer their brain

We are a shape-shifter just like the cloud
Painting angels and demons to enlighten the crowd
Hoping they’ll listen to our joy and our pain
Wishing they’ll get the lesson of our every rain

Mysterious Aries
we
often, i picture us
holding hands and watching movies
sitting on benches beneath old oak trees
hearing your laugh throughout the day
and catching you smile
when you think i don't see

and all i can do is hope
that when you close your eyes
your mind is filled
with thoughts of me
If I died tomorrow
Would you even care
Would you shake your fist up at God
And say this isn’t fair

Or would you just walk away
And go out with your buddies
Drinking, partying and laughing it up
Thinking it was funny

Would you even miss me
Just a little bit
Or would you just remember
How you thought I was a *****

If I died tomorrow
Would tears fall from your eyes
Would you think of me with a smile
Or with a mournful sigh

Or would you just be thankful
I was finally gone
And forget that you once thought
I was the only one

Would you remember when you asked
If you could marry me
Or would you be extremely happy
That you were actually free

If I died tomorrow
Would you miss my love for you
Or would you just jump for joy
That we were finally through

Wide Eyes
Come spring, she leaped across the grassy dune,
Beaming with sheer joy as she hummed a halcyon tune.
Her beauteous almond eyes- the biggest, the brightest.
A bonnie spotted doe in her warm, homely forest

Come summer, by her gushing little lake she played.
When upon a solitary, pensive buck her eyes she laid.
Eyes met across the smiling lake; too soon gazes parted.
While his eyes curiously lingered, hers wandered on ahead.

Come monsoon, he adored her eyes, her gilded coat, her bushy tail.
The passionate warmth in her eyes with affection made him frail.
Yet, she went on with her blissful life- devoid of any care.
Oblivious of the buck who always stopped to stare.

Come winter, by his side chattering happily she grazed.
Soon, his feelings faded; by almond eyes no longer crazed.
Like currents in the water, apart they drifted and drifted.
New lake. Nonchalant silence. No words were said.

Come fall, she found that he still leaped through her mind.
The emotion she once scoffed in her heart now enshrined.
Eyes met across the smiling lake; too soon gazes parted.
While her dull eyes wistfully lingered, his wandered on ahead.
If I met you
Twelve years from past
You might in school
With your first crush

If I met you
Nine years back then
You might in prom
With your first dance

If I met you
Six year 'fore now
You might have found
Partner in life

If I met you
Three years at once
You might be the one
Always broke me down

If I met you*
Not by this time
You wouldn't realise
You had me as your one
