I kissed your lips and I knew
what the moon is feeling
as the world forbids it
to ever be close to the sea
no matter how many times
it attracts the water from up above

Molten green eyes
Filled with wonder
Gazing on wanderers
Without time or number

Sleeping at noon
And dancing at night
Elegant feet
Taking to flight

Under the stars
Dreaming of one
Perhaps he'd pass again
Before the end of the sun

My anger flares,
I draw my weapon,
And I pull the trigger,
My words blow holes in your mentality.
My vocabulary splatters your imagination on the ground.
I take another breath,
and reload,
Preparing to fire again.
Bang.

I stepped into a hollow cave
in search of something new.
Don't know what I was thinking
maybe I was searching for a clue.
The sun's rays couldn't hit me anymore
I was surrounded by rocks
and fossils.
I fell in love with the ruins
of an old,lost city
with narrow streets and dark caves
with skeletons on the street
and gold coins in the shade
All of these ruins
only to forget you
I am trying to do a thing where I write a poem every 24 hours. Need to start writing again and stop being lazy
In the depths of the ocean
we have walked in to

I fill my hands with sea water
and hold them out to you

a salt drink, bringing forth salt tears

and in that, a thirst that I
could not ease

a force of nature I could not
contain

we abstain, from kissing with eyes closed

we have memorised the valleys of our flesh, translated

them into Braille beneath our fingertips

to be read in the dark and it is
dark now

your back arched like a cat, sensing danger

strangers, up to their necks, treading water

and wondering if it would really be so bad

to drown

Begin Again

The hours disappear instantly like blown out
flames off weary candles.
But time is no match for such raging hearts.

We would still hold up the receding
indigo ceiling above us.
We would prop up the sullen moon to stave
off the dawning day.
We will clutch the dwindling stars
and hug them close to our chests.

Because we know the words too well.
Words we simply couldn't cage except to say that...

We are not yet ready to leave
but we look forward to
diving headlong into
the inevitable restart.

Just so the day could grant us a
slate brand new.
Just so that come night,
we could begin all over again.
