Yaya
I want to wake with you each day,
until I rise no more,
with every sunrise shared,
more beautiful than the one before.

I want to wake with you each day,
so you’re the first thing that I see,
and hear the first sweet birdsong
with you laying right next to me.

I want to wake with you each day,
with our bodies intertwined,
so that you will know I’m yours,
and I, that you are mine.

Cné
The surf provides lullabies
as ocean echoes roll.
Too soon, the sunlight glitters
as the dawn turns gray to gold.

I wake and I rub my eyes
beside the sandy beach
My love beside me, languid lips
within an easy reach.

I whisper, sweet good mornings
as your dreams I brush away.
You stretch and yawn, responding to
requests to "come and play".

Lingered memories caress,
of last night's rising moon
with silver waves and ripples,
beyond the dark lagoon.

In shades of colors that mix and smudge
you take your time, no rush
My ******* tingle, at the thought
upon my skin, spreads flush.

In reverie, flutters reminisce,
your wanton body on mine.
Whispered moans in my ear, you ******,
"I'm yours", I hear on rewind.
When last night's... turns into this morning's

Delaney
the best gift I have ever gotten
was given to me as soon as I was born.
you held me in your arms
and whispered "mine".
I would learn later on
that I was minutes old when I was given
one of the greatest loves
I will ever receive.

-I have the honor of calling you my sister
There's a darkness inside
It's permanence like the cosmic sky
You can bring the sun right into me
And I will shine in the brightest hues
Igniting my inhibitions in lilac fumes
Dangling in the crimson ceramic
Happy and astute
But like every sunset
The sun will come set on me
Leaving me in the darkness of rye
Only truth to this ?
The darkness never left
It stayed safe and composed
Just like the night sky
Waiting on the sun to go.

You're the one,
I want to keep,
And hold in my heart,
Till I fall to dust,
Just as hard as I've fallen for you.
I was sad to see someone taking credit for this poem on their page. But I hope everyone knows I wrote it. :/
i stand in a graveyard.
i see, though i am blinded by the past.
i see millions of tombstones surrounding me,
each one has words i dare not read.
i am scared,
and i am alone.
though i am not alone, there are ghosts who hold faces that are familiar around me.
they tell me that the light shall come soon.
they promise me this.
i do not believe them,
i have been fooled too many times.
and as i walk throughout this graveyard i come to a realization;
no matter how many ghosts stand by my side,
i am the only one who is of real flesh and bone.
who stands above the ground and not beneath it.
i cannot come to terms if this is good or not.
