i will meet you there
between spaces and comas
and stretched ink across false words
with pencil scribbles here and there
amongst colourful highlights across
feelings that you felt through
the darkest nights and suffocating weep
when you are broken by life
as you hide away from the face
of the world

i will meet you there
where dreams exist
and i exist for you
even for a while
and i will tell you
that everything will be fine
even though
i will be gone
by the time i finish it

Bloody Poetry

There is poetry in blood- in the veins
that licked up my spine and down
a silhouetted profile in last night's lusting whisper
and this mourning's coffee.

There is something in the way
she holds the knife-cutting
onions for tacos and
laughing for the guests, pulling

down her sleeves, adjusting
her hair in the
reflection of the sink. She looks
just fine
this way, using
these silver deposits to search
for something- perhaps
lost down the disposal
or obscured by drops
of blood from where she nicked
herself.

And she watches the blood seep and
her lines blur with
these words and
the page- or is it
her face?

It blushes.

We were strangers
Who came with words,
We have a flawless storyline
And wrote our own lies.

Those ravishing words
That turned into
An ocean of aesthetic lies,
Then I drowned and can't swim.

We're now inarticulate
And we both share
The same ghost
Contradicting everything special
That we lost in a blink.

I was the moon and stars
Who swallowed his darkness,
He was the setting sun
Who have put me down,
I guess I was in love with an idea.
(J.a.t.m)
Like a shooting star
Beautiful, yet so very far
Made of my wishes, hopes and dreams
Everything inside my heart
For a fleeting second
Seems you're just close enough to touch
Then there you go again
And I'm left wishing and missing you so much
Waiting until you're back in my sights
Covered by the darkness of night
The only thing that could make me happier
Would be flying by your side
Shining brightly together
As the rest of the world admires our beauty
From a distance, forever
Long distance love can be hard, but I have faith we'll be together soon. ❤

He loosened his hold.

He'd been hanging on for so **** long.

Finally, the realization hit after so many lies had been told.

He let go, knowing that it had always been wrong.

And it was a bold move, but the cold inside was suddenly removed.

He felt more free than he had in such a long while.

He slowly walked away, proudly showing off his freedom smile.
#7777 challenge, 7th book, 7th page, 7th line and 7 lines of a poem. My book was Gena Showalter,  'The Darkest Craving".  7th line on the 7th page was 'He loosened his hold.'

in my mind
we are infinite;
never ending,
never changing.

in my mind,
i am forever young,
forever pure.
like those immortalized by death,
i am immortalized by life.

in my mind,
in my mind.

in reality,
there is an hourglass
on my life.
timing me,
until that exact moment,
where i am no more.

timing till when
i am nothing

but past tense.
