It’s cold and calm I feel it right in my veins
Making its way to my heart

Slowly

Every second a ghost
It haunts my lonely soul
Scaring my strength away

Slowly

Why do I have to
To wear this blanket of blues
My skin it’s frozen and yet

Slowly

More of the ice keep enveloping me
I’m falling to the depths

Slowly

It’s so cold and it’s so calm I can’t feel my veins.

When depression hits you, you'll be sent in a cold, dark and miserable state.

Holy Spirit
Have I only to speak your name and The Fruits of your bearing become Mine?
What of my Name …

Did It Stand By Thee,
when the statues fell,
and the horses tromped the citizens blood underfoot?

Was this a fight to the death?
or was this something that I stayed Four,
and became myself again?

Look Up Dear Citizen,
It is for You to decide Now.
Is it Well with Thee?

Or have you become that,
which, Stolen in this Flight of Darkened Angels
Cross’s the Globe like so many Chagall’s

I Claim Thee Reconciled Spirit.
Beauty standing Upright upon the Wall of Life,
Grace’s Free Giving, standing for  the Citizenship of this World.

Charity is never wasted,
Even when refused;
Your simple act of selflessness
Cannot be reduced.

Kindness is never wasted,
Even when refused;
To think we think of others first
Cannot be diffused.

Courtesy is never wasted,
Even when refused;
Shake a hand, open a door,
Say Please and Thank You.

Patience is never wasted,
Even when refused;
Bide your time contentedly
Dealing with the obtuse.

Faith is never wasted,
Even when refused;
Believe in what cannot be proved
Even if confused.

Hope is never wasted,
Even when refused;
It gives the taste of fine red wine
Brimming o'er the cruse.

Hate is never wasted,
I know you feel abused;
It's just a tact under attack
That haters like to use.

Love is never wasted,
Even when refused;
It's educed, then enfused,
And spreads as it accrues.

God bless the brittle ones
they have no anger, they have no guns
God bless the little ones
they are daughters, they are sons

God save them from our fate
they are new to the human traits
God save them from the wait
Lord take them straight to the gates

God bless the rising dawn
it's a new day for living on
God bless who's already gone
they are daughters, they are sons

God save them from our hate
they are new to these fateful straits
God save them from our weight
Lord take them straight to the gates

at one time, we were all migrants
we had a dream and tried to find it
the torch of freedom was our light of guidance
we might have died if our cries were silenced

their dream relies on our compliance
we can't decline the reasons behind it
hear their cries and let them find an alliance
they're just trying to escape the violence
America was built by migrants...i say, let them come...

What's this war inside my soul?
Should I stay, or let it go?

Stuck between the pages in my book
I can't decide to blink or take a look.

Love tugging on the strings tearing up my heart
Can't I just ask for this chapter to restart?

What happens if I can't turn the page...?
My soul will forever be trapped in the cage.

Bound forever in this ****** book.
I can't decide to blink or take a look....

There are many wonderful poet's on the daily poems.... And on the spotlight.... Though I do notice something.... It is said here the computer is randomly picking many to get the dailys to be on them... Though, haven't been here long since I got in here may of something this year... Though noticed many of the same are being picked on the dailys... and this is a computer doing that? Sorry I question that alot.. I see people's beautiful poetry... So many of mine favorite poets and so many others who are such amazing writers like dawn s.... Mine queen Earl Jane which I'm not just saying her because she is mine woman but because she writes beyond amazing as so many others who bring back beauty that is lost.... And they aren't getting a spotlight?  And a good example is I noticed overtime some got dailys more than once? Huh? Lol... And yet haven't seen so many wonderful godly talents get one daily yet since I've been here if so maby I missed it!!! Not just them, but soooooooo many poets hundreds on here whom are beyond poets can't even name them all there's so many... I just find it a bit strange as I know there is much politics with this site and what else is going on.... Just honesty noone else will say. Yes I say the ones who get the dailys deserve those dailys.. They worked and write hard to get those.. Though has nothing to do with me it has to do with so many poets I like that are getting pushed to the back of the row and sadly those poets are the best poets out there in frank honesty.... Truth needs told... Let's shine a light not with money it takes on a poet but with likes and shares as I try to make unknown poets known. Thanks
God bless
Brandon....

mazuma by the way means money .....
