Dead Lock May 2015
You have no idea
What it is like
To grow up in this generation
Just like how your parents
Were clueless about yours
Dead Lock May 2015
Getting up is hard
Getting dressed is hard
Looking at people is hard
Getting started is hard
Getting it done is hard
Making food is okay
Eating it is controversial
Talking is hard
Loving is difficult
Laughing, that's good
Dead Lock May 2015
Forget guns and forget ammunition
Cause I’m killing them all on my own little mission
Now I’m not a saint but I’m not a sinner
But everything is cool as long as I’m thinner
This is some one elses poem. I found it lovely. Sadly, I do not know their name.
Dead Lock May 2015
Being tough
Being disciplined
Being perfect
You're a straight A student
Or employee of the month
You’re always smiling
You’re such a social human being
When anyone needs help, you’ll be there

But then, you’re home alone
In your own room
You look into mirror
Look yourself in the eyes
You see the world through the looking glass
Crippled and shattered
You see the real you
Just as broken and beaten
As the real world
Dead Lock May 2015
She flew on the line
Of sweet sanity
A tightrope of harsh reds
Beneth all our feet

One
           day
                     she
                                  fell.
Dead Lock May 2015
Raindrops on roses
And bloodstains on lines
Razors and longsleeves
To keep her scars hidden
She jumped off a building
Like a bird without wings
Those were a few of her
Favorite things
Dead Lock May 2015
I remember
The first time
When I was ten
I learned about
Depression
Anxiety
Self harm
Anorexia
Suicide
I remember
Thinking
Why would
Anyone do this
To themselves
It's so
Dumb
And three years
Later
I am
In the shower
Contemplating
My
Life
