Beebz The Queen
Taking time for granted
Each moment that we shared
What if I don't get the chance
To tell you how much i cared

Why does it take an illness
Why does it take pain
To make us all realize
What we'll lose and what we'll gain?

I have this moment of weakness
Because there's nothing i can do
Cannot comfort or cure or help
I can only pray you make it through

Loss is painful and heart breaking
So please don't make me say goodbye
I'm not ready to have you gone
So please stay by my side

I never want to see you go
And it pains me to see her cry
I love you all so very much
Like i said, don't make this goodbye

When i heard the news
All i did was weep
It seems the things i love
I never get to keep

I fear the hospital visits
The pain etched in your eyes
I cannot see you hurting
And watch your chest slowly fall and rise

This trial and this obstacle
Made me realize i can't always be strong
I must rely on others
To help me get along
I wrote this for my best friend,  her grandpa is very sick. I would appreciate your prayer, thank you!

I'd be consoled
for rain to fall on my face
because right now
I feel nothing
about anything

Soaking wet
in a rainstorm
might wash me clean
and maybe tomorrow
I’ll feel again

I do not want to talk about love today.
I do not want to mention
affectionate contact or semi-regular ***.
The newspapers are bringing forth
welcome divisions between mankind;
fault-lines of irreconcilable differences
to justify my half-hearted attempt at solitude.

I do not want to talk about sobriety today.
I do not want to bore you
with those nervous hours between cigarettes
and how I fill each moment spent inside myself.
******* offers a ladder of perfume and hair
for me to ascend to some anaerobic bliss,
towards an isolated unity between myself

and the woman stretched out on my astral bed.
I do not want to talk about much today.
I have over-thought all that is worth a mention.

Weeping Willows

phocks
a warm dawning sun
rises slow on hazy horizons
with winds wildly
blowing
down endless
interconnected currents
we wake up
to birds singing
timeless songs of morning
and our forgotten past
leaves us hanging
like willows weeping
in the rain
from this year's nanowrimo novel

Weeping Willows was selected as the daily poem November 10, 2014

Take a look inside my home:

I live in a Dream because Reality
hurts
leeched on by long tendrils and roots
wrapping, resting
around my nervous system
that plant seeds in my mind,

"She's so *fly
,
perfectly alike,
On the call, on the go for
me,
no questions asked.
Our personalities
bare and unmasked."

But only inside my head
can this hopeless reality be watered.

As Cummings reminds us, death was never a parentheses,
or a question, or a way of leaving,
but mostly, an intimacy between this world and another.
Consider Caesar, and how he never asked why, or got angry,
or held it against him,
but instead looked up at Brutus with all the strenght that
could come from a dying heart, and said
"You too, my child?"

Some things are even too much for our world to hold.
Even war shows us that once it's over, you can never let any of it stay with you, and happiness works just like that too.
And now, even as you read this,
knowing that the most beautiful of things rarely ever repeat themselves,
you wrote to her saying
"I am still afraid of feeling so alive in a world
that never keeps anything forever"
but it does keep everything forever.
it takes all that it knows,
and puts it in people and we just look for the ways that will keep all of it alive.
And remember how when we die,
the body flushed rigomortus,
will cause the hand to cling to the last thing in its grip.

Take what Death's Hand hath given unto me, for I am immortal see.
I taste of life's sweet elixir, for I am the dark trickster.
I dance between shadows like lightning, my fanged smile beyond frightening.
My kiss will deliver you from untimely death, as you take one last breath.
What I take from you, you in turn will steal from another anew.
The circle of life in any shape or form, as predictable as weather's storm.

Why oh why?

Anxiety
A ball of prickling fire tearing beneath my sternum.
Fear
A bolt of electric ripping through my veins.
Depression
A cloud so thick is suffocates my soul.
Anorexia
Starving the outside from within.
Bulimia
Inhaling the world and purging it back.
Failure
Being crushed by society for all of the above .....

And still wondering why oh why is it me???

Why?
