My scars don’t mind if they have friends
friends like more cuts and burns
More pain just keeps me happier
At least that’s what I thought
Until I got help
Then I realized I’m not okay
And
THAT IS OKAY
I’ve gotten help for 10 years and I’m just starting to realize that being hurt and in pain is fine just how you handle it is what matters
My coldness wakes me.
Trees blush in first light.
Curtains rustle with breeze.
Bird choir.
Coffee's waft.
Morning rewards.
a beautiful morning is like a reward

Life is an untamed surprise
An cycle that will never end
On the way we see what lies
Around the riverbend

There’s so much for us to face
Much that we don't comprehend
But let us travel to the place
Around the riverbend

There’s much that we adore
And much we won’t befriend
So don't wait for what’s in store
Around the riverbend

We floating and dancing free
And at the same time we’re penned
But let's see what there might be
Around the riverbend

We don’t know our future plans
But one day you’ll apprehend
So why not soar to the lands
Around the riverbend

We don’t know what we’ll become
But we know it’s not the end
So don’t fear what’s to come
Around the riverbend

Mr Poet
No matter how much of a burden you have for a while
Just let your emotions die and put on a temporary smile
Inspired by the people who fakes a smile to conceal their sadness.

The pen
is not your friend
But you don't know that yet

You sit
clenched fist
looking nowhere
mind
going everywhere
or drawing
a blank

You've clenched
your fist
too tight

Blood is never blue
but if it were
it might look like this

Rivers cascading
down to your wrist
the ink
finding a home
in the crevices
of your hand

Your pen is not flying
the page is not splattered
with overeager writing

Instead
you're left with
a sticky hand
and a mess
to clean up

Its crazy to think
that yesterday's tomorrow
is our now... today!

When a flower begins to grow,
do you hear it cry?
Does it fret about the water supply,
or the illogical odds of snow?
In spring does it wish for the summer,
or that rather it grew by the lake?
No- it blooms without worry, with grace,
and this is Man’s biggest mistake.
when we slow down, and reconnect with ourselves, we realise our inner capability and potential. Stress negates abundance, don’t sleep on your true self x
