never
abandon
your dreams
and

they
will never
abandon
you

My flesh bears the stains
Of all of my pains
Scars are what they are
The depth of some, too far.

Some are horrific
A tribute to my
Monolithic hatred
Of my own wellbeing

Some are ugly
Some are fair
Some are subtle
But all I bear

Each has a story
A lesson to be learned
From my darkest deeds
To my old glories

I show and share them
To warn those who care
Lest you end up like me
Caught in a devil's snare
It's okay to be broken. :)

it's hard to believe what I have seen
in the steeples, they fill the seats
claiming to love the most and the least
they leave church and their love fleets

these creatures are just killing machines
seemingly demons of in between
people sleeping in deceiving dreams
never seeing what Jesus means

self-appointed reapers for the beast
grievous destroyers of the peace
driving jeeps with a sticker that reads:
we support our troops in the middle east
going to work on this later

Look into my eyes
What do you see?
Do you see hate?
You should

Dive into my mind
And find the twisted nature of my dreams
Where my demons have become my friends
Where my nightmares are my favourite fantasies
Yes, pain has become my drug

Come with me
And swim with my dreams of my past
Stained by the wear of time
Listen to the harmony
Of the strum of my woes
Clawing on the fabric of my soul

Do you love the tune you wrote for me?
You will
Another dark one
