Paint me a picture
Of your skin
Does it bronze beneath the sun?
Or sizzle and blush
Like your cheeks
When you’re in love?
Is it soft to the touch
Like when your palms graze
The smooth surface of water?
Or rough around the edges
Like your favorite book
And its lovingly worn corners?
Does it melt in the heat
Like sweet syrupy treats
Dripping through your fingers?
Or does it welcome the winter
With wide open arms
As if greeting a lover?
Paint me a picture
Of your skin

Everyday at three fifteen you appear in my thoughts.
Routine urges me to reach out to you.
But by three sixteen I remember why I won’t,
you aren’t worth my time.
Letting go of some of the toxic things in my life.

Come take
your mind
on down
with me .

let our bodies
be canvases
to the tributes
of our
lives.

leave
our old stories
like tattered
and worn
baggages

by the
door.

be each
others
savior for
awhile.

a old lover's
lament.

not trying
to fill in
each other's
water color
dreams,

with lies
or half
obligated
promises.

and finally
when the
late afternoon

comes to
swallow our
worn
innocence.

close the
door.

leave unsaid
the words
that must
be said.

return us
both with
some dignity

to the outskirts

of our lives.

The skies, flowers, rivers, and sea
Your beauty never cease to amaze me
Even on land where our feets are free
You ran at the horizon where the sky meets the sea
And there I witnessed
The bearing of a true beauty
Harmonizes with every image that I can see
Your smile is just so perfect to me

Luv, I'll be keeping you with me
In my heart where you are with me
And then let's live for eternity
Even if death comes knocking
I'll give him a hard beating
I'll never surrender anything, for you are my everything
I'm still writing for you

Can the entire ocean
all be swallowed by my eyes.
If I make it to the moon,
will I then feel left behind.
Is there an end to the world,
that is decided by time.
Will I see beauty so great,
that I truly must go blind.
At the end of the last road,
will at least all colors rhyme.
I fear the war will not stop,
these enemies in my mind.

Waning moon rises
from it's long silvery dip
setting night ablaze

In my dream i'm in his arms
In that same black dress
Barefoot in the soft grass
And we dance
We dance to the sound of the night
The soft crickets and the water's waves
And the steady beat of two hearts as one
And I'm lost in it all
Lost in your eyes and your voice
Lost in that soft black dress
Lost in the darkness of the night
I miss those dreams
