Come misty-mouthed girl,
To a not so wonderful world.
Make me forget.
The investment of the other within me
has come to fill me with regret.

O take me back to before I could see all their flaws,
Before the familiarity of friendship clouded our view.
Back to when I could have believed in this so called 'love',
And could have believed in you.

Now a thick, dense obsession rises day to day
from within locked cupboards.
But not the naive, self-named kind of days once past;
The kind that clings to your personality
Like your sugar stained teeth the morning after cider;
A repulsive grit.

But I am looking for you.
Not an emissary of my misery,
But an idiosyncratic icon of
My ignorant days before I knew of
Poems, plays or 'Liberation'.
Just come and be my salvation.

My misty-mouthed girl.

Wrap your ring of
words round;
Cushion the fall.
It shouldn't make much difference,
as your words mean
Nothing at all.

Alone a constant mind chatter
Clutter
Sticking to sweaty inner parts and
Broken hearts
Stray hairs
Pink layers
Broken chairs

Bang!
Noise?
Too busy to have thoughts
Laughs
Stomach in knots
The threshold crossed
I'm safe.

Made it so far
But Alone
Again

Until I am filled with ends
"You are completed by others"
Lies.
When the heart cries
It's the inner eyes
That fill the soul
And make it whole.

Only I.
Let the time pass
Without any bitter words
the softest laugh is yours
By the glow of moonlight
With your face close to mine

The confused tears come
Yet those passing hours
Leave not a mark
I suppose we are all nailed to misery
In our own little way
I've seen a lot of rain around
lots of thoughts and pain around
But cannot hear the sound around
Of heartbeats on the dusty ground

Lovingly made but never found
And Like you nothing too profound
But still true enough to form around
To have a crowded crowd around

Still with only you around
A dead wax doll thrown on the ground
Tears and that old haunting sound
Of rain that falls from all around

You can busy yourself about the day
Keep the wretched words away
Write, so they are not so strong
Read, so you do nothing wrong.

They will catch up on you, however
With you and your heart forever,
These tiny little gnawing thoughts
With their presence you are lost.

Among the headaches and the pain
In this place nothing to gain

Shut your eyelids tight
When the stars are high
And the moon is bright

But try and wish what you may
You cannot keep the thoughts away
On your little devoured soul
You wish, you wish you could be whole.
I suffer pretty badly from obsessive thinking, and this was just my way of dealing with it tonight.
Through your backyard smile
I can see a gaping hole
The flaw in the plan
The strange midnight chimes
Bringing out in me
the old November knives

people keep telling me
not to be like this
the way i am
don't do this
dont do that
you know nothing
its said don't hurt
because see 'hurt' is bad
and bad is bad
how can you convert it into good
or welfare
no matter what you do
and how
people will still be rude
acheful
and deceitful
its not in my mind
to see what they see
they say you know nothing
accept other people's view
to understand them
even if they are outdated
kindless, rigid, heartless
we are asked to realize
especially if it hurts
so what if you are hurt
i am asked
to re-evaluate myself
x-ray and realize
'i am wrong'
they are all right
see..they hide well
i am asked to conceal as well
but see
i can't
i suffer because of this
of my sheer plainness
of my brutality
of my severity
just to be a real
in a world where everybody
does nothing
other than hurt'
yet again
i am asked 'don't think, don't feel'
'you are good'
not knowing it's my heart
that get hurts in the end
