*I’ve long since stopped articulating your beauty
In flashy luxuriant and tongue twisting superlatives
As my imagination’s been worn thin whilst your body’s symmetry
Is a stark constant mired in substantives.
There’s one thing though
That melts my hard line stance to desist
From understating your beauty, furrows
Fashioned as dimples on your cheeks that I can’t resist.
They’re screamingly distinctive
Demanding attention and reverence
No wonder they’re so addictive
Can’t keep my eyes off them and I’ve settled on humble acceptance
Of their hypnotic effect on me
Methinks I should just let them be.*

I am not going to promise you we will be "together forever."
I am not going to tell you I love you 'to the moon & back.'
I am not going to say that you look hot.
Instead, I will promise you each day that I will stay the day.
Instead, I will tell you I love you, but show you how much (way more than 'to the moon & back').
Instead, I will glance at you soaking in every inch of your beauty, sit back & shockingly say, "wow."
If I promise you that we will be "together forever," you may get some lazy relationship where we put our effort into the cliché land of time that we call, tomorrow. If I promise you each day, that I will stay the day, then I'm sure we'll get a relationship where we put our all in, every single day.
If I tell you I love you 'to the moon & back,' then I am giving you a limited love. My love for you is unlimited.
If I tell you I love you, & show you how much, I'll spend the rest of my life showing you, & you'll get the rest of yours to see.
If I tell you "you're hot," I'd be understating it, & you would feel like a hunk of meat. Your beauty magnifies, & I will remind you everyday making sure you feel your beauty as I see it.

You are a goddess
And your body is a temple
I want to worship.
Your legs are columns,
standing strong,
holding you up right.
Your hair is a veil of golden sunshine,
a diadem that shows your royalty,
your divinity.
Your laugh is a song,
like a hymn in a cathedral.
You’ve got the voice of an angel
and the key to my heart.
When I close my eyes
and try to picture Heaven,
I can only see your bright face,
your earthy eyes
and your smile that outshines the sun.
I lost myself when I found you,
but gained an understating
only a deity could comprehend.
Before I met you, I believed in love
as much as I did in God,
but you guided me back to both.

We are beautiful, incredible people.
Precisely handcrafted with imperfections.
So we let others dictate our understating,
I call them cowards when they try to take advantage of the weak minded.
Oh how blinded!
They put a dollar in our face and we’re enchanted.
Look beyond the paper,they use to be acres,
of trees that served as our protection.
The ground we stand upon is our foundation.
The wind we feel is our elevation.
Look within and find motivation,
to lead this world in the right direction.

It takes more than just you-tube inspirational videos to start living sincerely
and more than just motivational quotes to start practicing our good thoughts
more than just good friends to start being one
more than just don'ts and dos from parents to really start understating and learning
more than just our failures and mistakes to start making the right choices
commitments, courage, faith, hope, willingness, wisdom, ambitions, goals, love.....is something that we have to cultivate on our own
giving up is decision only made when we don't have courage or when we lose hope
emptiness is a feeling only comes when we don't have faith or belief of our own
failure only conquers when we stop trying
fears only take over when we let them take over our deep thoughts
loneliness only takes over when we allow ourselves to become the enemy of our enemies
ambitions only come when we dare to dream no-matter the age
success only happens when we act and commit till the end.

Like a mime I reach,
And feel invisible box,
That surrounds,
My days like a haze.
Probing and seeking,
Along every crease and line.
Even standing still,
I'm stuck in a maze.
I can't find my way out,
Though I felt every path,
Every single,
90 degree turn.
I know all that's inside here,
I breath it's understating,
Which is why,
It's outside, that I yern.
But just as the mime,
I know my box isn't real.
Just some rules,
I simply can't bend.
So a rat I've become,
While standing still,
Maze locked,
And no sight of the end.

how can i liken that smile to a bright sunshine,
how can i compare the touch of your lips to a feather like rain,
how can i write this piece without even wondering,
is there anything on earth that compares to you, my everything?
how can i arrange these words, when just a thought of you can derail it,
how can i use the letters to describe the flame in me you lit,
how can i describe the feeling without even catching my breath,
when even just your name, my heart and soul will melt.
how can i state the warmth of your embrace without understating this,
how can i tell you how i feel without wondering what i missed,
how can these letters, words and rhymes be ever enough
when you my love, have given me so much.
