"predominate" poems
Tonight is a cluster of Recognitions, remembrances Mostly reminiscence Which sift in the breeze Gusting beneath the temporary Tarpaulin tent Backs are slapped Arms embraced Smiles predominate As shiny faces and gleaming foreheads Illuminated by flashing cameras Twinkle like fireflies displaying In a muggy June meadow Photos pulled from stained Billfolds move from hand to hand Displaying glossies of babies, graduations Weddings and “The big catch” Relatives, friends and officials Find their place on folded metal chairs For a wedding ceremony Tonight has become a gathering

Gathering
When the soul seeks the song frozen in time, Divinity obliges by sending a few echoes down my path. They reverberate across the blue champagne waves of inertia to awaken reminiscences of our harmonic rhythm. Moments flow syllable like to find a meaning between the lines etched on destiny's canvas as a presence converges into resonance. Every word is amplified together into honest understanding breaking apart the rational mind icebergs that predominate love.

Resonating again - Co authored with Sara Fielder
I sit in a worried sand I remain ever sinking deeper within my mind, in a relentlessly ceasing less void of gaping curiosity dominating my predominate view and clouding my vision with irrelevant focus toward foolish, feeble, fanatical finds that feverishly ****** my full fancy. I carelessly cast aside the light that should yield me smiles and giggles. With joy and of true happiness. But those hopes have evaded me and are consistently escaping my grasp due to my own self preservations. In conclusion, I'm the block to my own happiness. I am the key to my future. I just need to find the door to open it...

I find it ludicrous how victim blaming is so predominate in our society. You ended us through a cryptic text message, and began to ignore me, and I “overreacted” when I demanded for answers. I’m left frayed in your absence; did you ever learn how to use scissors? I bombarded you with pleas that fell on a silenced phone, read receipts turned off. It’s hard for historians to accept the fact that the records of some societies are lost forever. Scientists don’t like to believe we may never know how the Universe works. How can you be so well kept in my presence, when I sublime to the sound of your name? Perhaps I shouldn’t compare your appearance to the chemicals reacting inside you. After all, you were never great at expressing your emotions, and I knew that very well. Even Spock would be jealous of your Vulcan traits. Block everything out, would you. You are preventing allies from entering your domain to help your cause. And I guess, if Disney movies taught me anything, a dream is a wish your heart makes. Well, then I never mean anything I say. You are such a persistent phantasm, and you must love my mind, because you never leave it. Why do we love the things that are so harmful to us? A smoker knows all too well that cigarettes are slowly killing them, yet they take a long drag anyway. How can I get over someone I once loved? Putting down that bottle of liquor, it seems heavier than when I picked it up. I’m an alcoholic and I’m skipping AA.

A Las
The Figure gained speed. The Beaten Path continued to shallow him. The Stranger did not know which would **** him first. He relaxed, and accepted his fate. Mud encompassed his head, the Figure was inches away. Life gave way from his body. His head went limp, he fainted. The Figure stopped the mud, and sighed. "Humans." The Stranger awoke, as the sun shined on him from the east. This Figure did not have the predominate human features; No ears, No mouth, No nose, No hair, and No pupils. But eyes stared blankly at him. Death, was amused that he didn't faint. Then the laughter came when, the Stranger figured out who he was. The laughter filled his head, echoing through his body. "Yes, Death is thee name and fame."

The Stranger, and the One Called Death Part I #4
Addiction issues are certainly predominate with the sensitive souls of writers. Is the cause the world they perceive and abhor. The greed, despair, hunger, hate and such. There is an abundance of such. Or, Do we celebrate the beauty we see in charity, love, generosity and such, too much. There is an abundance of such. Or, Do we just prefer to mix our drinks?

Pronunciate, predominate, preponderate, prevaricate, Precipitate, pontificate, pomegranate, postulate – Problem? Do not attempt to look these words up! That dictionary shouldn’t be w-i-d-e open like your mouth Or can’t you handle multi-syllabic lexis? I thought you were TOUGH, MIGHTY and STRONG Yet lower, Lower, Down into the ground A million thoughts lay scattered, here, there and everywhere WAIT A MINUTE I thought you were INVINCIBLE and POWERFUL So HARD that you could DEFEAT anything that came your way I THOUGHT YOU COULD RUN AND hide Why, this room is as LOUD as s-i-l-e-n-c-e I see that your friends aren’t with you now What happened to your BIG mouth! Cat got your tongue? But when your friends are around Your tongue can’t resist a good workout Up, down, t-w-i-r-l it a-r-o-u-n-d I thought that Audacious was your middle name Oh, here comes Georgia Giraffe. Cat got your tongue again? The old YOU jumps out and reveals itself When YOU LOOK down AT PEOPLE Those known as the vulnerable So why is it that when people LOOK down AT YOU You put on a mask? Such an innocent and friendly face! Scared now? Met your match? I thought that if you had a pound for every fight you had won Every human alive would be penniless Silly sausage! Oh, sorry! Offended? Truth hurt? Are you a victim? Well, imagine what it feels like to be a victim! Where the world is an e-v-e-r-l-a-s-t-i-n-g nightmare Look here, look there, but there is no escape route I-m-a-g-i-n-e what it feels like to want to t-u-r-n back the clocks Where you can never see the shine If it isn’t too much of a HARD task, then Bully, OH bully -Imagine- Written by Geraldine Taylor ©

Was it your final flight? Entrapped in leather armor you pierced me hot and dizzy excruciating and unforgiving. ****** for haram invasion, when we plowed through your nesting grounds. Splattered amongst the visor your sisters died in vain but you, you left a mark had me faint on the bike falling backwards, alarmed almost victim to your kamikaze. Only soothed with more poison. Swollen sordid pretense, will it die away? Though not the predominate, I feared amputation from your martyrdom. But your irreverent venom only plagued me for a weekend.

First type: They revel in their past glories and successes. They practically insist on being heard and hope they will be admired. They are loud, very loud and insensitive. They repulse others. Second Type: They say only a few words-- and in neutral terms- moving away from themselves as they don't wish to attract any attention to themselves. Such people are self-sufficient unlike the first type. They are likely to be amiable and pleasant people. Between the two, the first seem to predominate-- such is the weakness of human nature
