Poet I may be, and rather gallant
but my tongue has another talent.
An ability only special ones know,
a secret skill I hardly show.

So here it is for your delight,
just the once, this very night.
Come my Dear! Let us walk
whilst I knot your cherry stalk.

A lady in blue.

In a purse

unzipped,

A coral pink lipstick

A rose blusher

A bronzed eyeshadow

A fuschia eyeshadow

A black eyeliner

A mascara

A compact powder

A lipgloss.

Strolling in a park,

The purse

clutched.

Poised.

Protected.

She had a dressing table,
Aveeno cream,
And a big blusher brush.

There was nothing sad about the scissors
But they sat there open on the dressing table,
And they looked sad.

Two canaries flew freely about the room,

So we joined awkwardly in the darkness
Under the sad eyes of scissors
And the colour yellow.
butterflies on a beautiful boy
cling with insect intensity
they wear candy pink lipstick
he has his face reddened
with blusher
his hair is depicted in triplicate
on the cubical doors of toilets
black painted cubical doors
that possess an objective scrutiny
of an immediacy that suggests
a knowledge of expendable names
of disinterested inspection
names that are deletable with time
all that is left is a screaming solar plexus
he waits like an animated aura
a haloed head of violet rings him
as he leans against the toilet wall
with beautiful blonde ambition
the butterflies cling with insect intensity

He wakes up with teeth grinding, lightening bolts in his jaw
Crooked smile, broken as his home is and lonely in suffering
Each day when the cruel sun streaks in through cracked curtains
and he is reminded of a unique affliction, the asymmetrical torso
moreover, the scabrous flesh that adorns the arms and inner thigh
He feels morose and grotesque, as a woman could never be
Reflective avoidance, the mirror always covered when he stands to ****
Rheum still covers delicate eyes so accuracy goes out the window
and grumbling, stooping over, wiping the mess he sighs and makes wishes

How painful these days are to a man that prays for femininity
Stature and girth like a real man, though dreaming as a schoolgirl
Bristling stubble, adoration for his thick hair from envious men
Appeasing some latent homosexual desire,
but not enough to reciprocate adoration
The pain in his worn teeth is a constant reminder of ineffectual existence
and his shoulders ache every day, whilst legs are jelly and lose balance constantly
How cruel the lethargy can be, that some days he alters anatomy
at least in his own psyche, that ever fruitful imagination

So in lonely doledrum evenings when the mists set on cityscapes
the petty escape is worn, vibrant black ladies-wear, evening gowns
and wild high heels, posturing female attire for a tender soul
Corsets and tapes hiding unseemly masculine traits,
figurine madness, the make-up set meticulous and dynamic
Ruby red lips that eschew gender conformity and mascara mirrors the sky
She feels that warm embrace, spiritual in deep ****** chasms
Grasping for the apparently unattainable; magazine littered pictures on the tabletop
and her coarse fingers glide on silken garments, moonlight serenade on the speaker

How elegant the movie star madame, in this depression taken hold
A temporary release she clinches on to some beautiful image, forever in love
To be beautiful is to be happy and all women are beautiful, experience as a teacher
Funny how fatigue disappears once embellished in womanly garb
and funnier still that the aching head and rotting mouth are nil under blusher
Those nights can be liberating for a man of ennui and illness
Confusing though it may be, that such a man can attain such joy
and still feel devotion for every woman he loved, the fact still remains that
In the mirror she saw herself smiling and so she reasoned to turn the mirror the correct way up

Paris sits at a heart-shaped table, her lamplight eyes dimming for the morning. She pumps a tube of mascara, yawning.

“Oi!”

Paris jumps, troubled by the noise. “Oh no. Not you.” She says, blusher brush poised.

London doffs his rooftops like ten million battered bowlers.

“Nice to see you too. Not a morning girl, eh?”

Paris shakes her lovely head in a flurry of churchbells. “For you mon cher, there’s no right time of day.”

(The Channel chuckles, unsettling ships, as Dover reclines in her cloud of talc and giggles like a tickled bluebird.)

London utters a swearword. “You don’t like me, do you?”

“You’re not fit to lick my shoe.” Paris scowls, adjusting the Eiffel Tower until it sits slap-bang in the middle of her head like a crown.

“What hard work you are!” London howls, slamming a fist into the Serpentine.

Calais shrugs his trees, bored. “Mon dieu – get a room.”

The man stood in the corner.
Tousled his hair like a rock star.
It's in his genes you know.
For he's a man in a dress.
Maybe a man in drag?

Make-up plastered on with a trowel.
Quickly darling chuck him a towel.
To wipe away his blusher.
Wants to be a lady fair.
Her chin is rather bristly.
It gives the game away.

Inside the hardened exterior hides a lady.
Sweet and pure.
Local kiddies take the p.
You see.
Due to lack of understanding.
Missing sympathy.
Kiddies all chuckle at that strange
man.
The fella who wants to be free.
He's a man in a dress.
He ain't got no regrets.
In all sincerity.
He's a lady inside.

He's a man in a dress.
He likes it best.
They all say that breast is best.
The lady is excited.
Cultivated *******.
Procured by things hormonal.
Hairy chin.
Evening shadow.
Perfect skin.
The silhouette perfect shape.
That man he wore a dress.
But he's a lady now.
And she's a cheerful soul.

A little lipstick
On the lips,
A little blusher
On the nose,
When my mum
Goes out shopping,
I like to
Wear her clothes.

School mums running
Clever and cunning

Lipstick and blusher
Are good for chatter

Shadows and bags
Weekly girl mags

Gossip time and toast
They all have a boast

Slimming and fitness
Goal is the witness

If you've tales to tell
Their your best pal

Talk behind you back
Of all that you lack

Mums school gang
Go off with a bang

They'll give you hell
Then say oh well
No reason to yell
You just don't gel

Blusher'd rosy cheeks,

garnets and emeralds
the pretty girl
puts on some blusher
from her compact case
on it is an image

just like her

a pre-raphaelite print
this girl scans the sky
her eyes always above
she watches the planes
go out and come back
for she counts them all

one by one

is her guy up there?
or is he missing?
she remembers him
and cares for his comrades
the girl who counts the planes
for she loves all the crew

not just pilots

as much as she loves her land
the girl who counts planes
how many failed to return?
there's a ring on her finger...
(20 minute poetry)

Colouring in the haggard look,
*** it's chill outside, I am
painting on the shivers
as slivers of ice drop
from my nose.

Snow is in the air
bare branches on the trees
Dear Santa
I'd like for Christmas
a touch of Summer please.

The scent of cologne
floats softly through the train
an underground smell in
an underground hell
but
at least I got a seat,
cold ears
cold feet
in here it's even colder heat.

A young girl next to me
rosy cheeks
peeks in the compact
makes a snack with blusher
I watch her
it doesn't faze her
eye liner
why?

colouring in the haggard look
my days become a colouring book
every moment is a crayon

Young girl gets off
I stay on,
a smudge of lipstick back of the seat
cold feet?

Always full
ready to pull me
this way
that,
I colour me blue to match
my eyes and toes
the colour goes flat.

Glad I brought my gloves.
Lenses, eyeliner, eyebrow liner, lipgloss, lipstick, mascara, blusher, contour, highlights, heels, dressing senses, conduction;
It will all be impossible without you.

Happy 44th Birthday ma!
I truly love you♥️
Love, Vina

I have no time for Mr Newman
those washed up washeruppers,
give me the troubling tough Tarzan
trembling me with the screams he utters,
swinging from curtains, this brute ape-man,
come to make me his woman...

Modesty forbids me to be kissed and tell
when in the arms of my cave-man lover,
or how, even, he would be like a devil from hell
as he burns me beyond being a blusher,
and the neighbors would know from my yells
that master was home quelling his rebel...

And later when we both are satiated
and sunrise begins to dry the dew,
my Tarzan would know that he'd really mated
for I'd leave him, of course, black and blue,
my marks would show his boasts not inflated
his Rewd Jane really is, X rated...

"Now, bow, dip, twist and turn."

Now, vow, lip, trust and yearn.

Are you hungry?

Time like a yarn,

Love like a dream, causing fluster,

Making bluster.

Are you in love?

Rhymes like ****,

Love licking off cream, causing blusher,

Making bluster.
Two steps forward, half step back.
