I always wanted to write you a song.
I noticed people who sung and made music attracted your attention.
there's something about writing a song to someone
that makes them  love you more I always thought.

I wanted to show how your presence
gave me a sweet melody that kept my mind calm.
I just wanted you to hear
the symphony of feelings I felt for you.

Unfortunately I have no beat.
chords are too hard to put together.
I can't sing to save my life.

I could only write you cheesy poems.

for you.

about you.

about us.

but a poem is no song.

I write with the rhythm of my heart
but it's only words on a page to you.

Tree Hill

.
Do you remember when time stood still
skipping naked, happy, upon Spring Hill?
Warm westerlies, do rebirth dominate,
brushing the flowers, each one to pollinate.

Do you remember when time stood still
running naked, joyful, upon Summer Hill?
Hot south wind, sun growth it gifts,
providing life, as Nature's head it lifts.

Do you remember when time stood still
walking naked, tired, upon Autumn Hill?
Cool easterlies, the harvest to reap,
just preparing, waiting, for the annual sleep.

Do you remember when time stood still
laying naked, spent, upon Winter Hill?
Chill north wind, the snows to bring,
patient listening, to the universe sing.

Do you remember when time stood still
exposed and naked upon Season's Hill?
No rain, no sun, no wind nor breeze,
could disturb the silence of the Trees.

If you don't grab it
Someone else will have it
If you dont use it
You will lose it
If you don't bother
Thinking about tomorrow
Then tomorrow will be spent
Thinking where today went

I laugh through my words
So my pain goes unheard.
I joke through my darkest hour,
To drain the pain of power.

You won't see me frown,
But that doesn't mean I'm okay.
I'll take the crown,
"King of laughs,"you say.
I'll take the crown,
But the pain doesn't wash away.

Look You

Look you,
See the sunset,
Emblazoned across the sky,
In burning hues of crimson and gold,
Framed in the naval strains of infinity.

Listen you,
Hear the rain,
Dancing on the rooftops,
Singing to the celestial beat
Of the thunder.

Look around you,
See your world,
See it shatter,
See the spinning, glittering fragments,
Falling into the dust beneath your feet,
Just like the crystal ball you see this in…
This one actually has a story to it - I was walking home from the bus stop after school one day (I think I'd have been 15 at the time) and looking at the sunset, this poem just popped into my brain, and I repeated it to myself the rest of the walk home where I wrote it down as quickly as possible to avoid losing it.

Day
11 days, I spent in grey hospital socks
wandering halls bare, not even clocks
17 girls, all torn and broken inside
opened our wrists, drank cyanide
"behavior heath", but we knew was psych
held wandering souls, all pale and ghostlike
sat in a circle, we shared and we cried
of times we stole, drank, smoked and lied
stories of ****, abuse and pain
somehow all one and the same
different faces and different lives
but most chose to end it with knives
but failure brought us all to this place
to learn a new name, gain a new face
fed us some pills and watched how we'd do
if we'd scream and suddenly turn blue
but only a few continued to fall
and theirs are the saddest stories of all
my heart broke each night as I sat and heard
one of the girls minds became blurred
still even now, I shed a tear
for every lost soul, that we never hear
Recently went to an intensive inpatient behavior health center after a major panic attack and breakdown. I was suicidal and was diagnosed with major depression. This experience, really changed me and opened my mind so much. More to come . I give thanks for this site for giving me a positive way to cope. You all are amazing. <3

The saddest day there’ll ever be
when nature sobs in harmony
Planet Earth will cease to be
and Heaven sends her sympathy

We will see the rainfall pouring
tears that never end
pooling in deep waters
as she cry, cries
until the angels die
falling from the heavens
drowning in her waters deep
their wings too wet to fly

We will hear the wild winds howling
screeching through the trees
calling out in misery
The Earth is on her knees
The angels that watched over us
are nevermore to be
The saddest day we’ll ever see
The death of Planet Earth.
