The days they blend
and bend
only to begin again.

So I take shape
  for my name sake
  to placate
  makeshift benevolence.

Where common courtesy
   meets common sense
Where your pretty penny
   changes to a pence
   now it's worthless.

You feel the mask
   it shields your gums
   from a razor tongue
   bleeds blue
but all you see is red.

This mockery you
   have made of me
   what a tragedy
   catastrophe.

You won now
    a trophy
in the evening hour
    take my mind
I won't be needing it

Not like I used to-
Not like us two
    got used to the abuse
Who used who?
   You used me.

She feels heaviness in her heart
What once gave her happiness
leaves her feeling empty

She tries to write out her feelings
but they remain inside her
like a bird locked in a cage
wanting to go out
but not knowing how to fly

Why do I keep on feeling this way, she asked herself
Why must I feel so deeply
It hurts
It hurts
It hurts too much
This aching in my bones
longs to hear the soft whispers of love
yet I am too consumed in my own darkness
I can't see the light

Let us be like trees in autumn.
Let us turn colors and leave the landscape of this world more beautiful than it was before.
Let others bask in the purity of our evolutionary changing leaves.

May we not be afraid to shed our skin.
May we know that even when we are most barren, like the branches of winter it will not last.

Spring will come again.
It will put bark back on our trunks.
It will feed our roots that we embedded deep within the earth.
It will allow us to bloom again.
We move in correlation
a human constellation
you are my infatuation
i shine at your affection
but in watery reflection
you're unsteady, an evasion
i reach out for your attention
receiving only your impatience,
my sun, whats your obsession
with comets in far directions
am i not your one exception,
your moon, your connection?
but i move past your perception
fade with stars and imperfection
i ask you only one small question
was ours love, or a reaction?

The sky was blue and beautiful
Then suddenly the clouds became dark
You didn't tell me you'd come
I felt your raindrops into my skin

Now I am soaking wet
But then longer and longer,
I'm starting to enjoy your company
Now I wish you'll stay

Been loving you dearly
Suddenly you stopped
You didn't tell me you'd leave
I feel so upset and lonely

If only you told me you'd come
If only you told me you'd leave
I shouldn't love you deeply
Now I'm left alone sad, broken and empty

Why do I choose to live without you?
Is that what I truly want?
The pain of an empty heart.

I search and search,
But can't find your touch,
Maybe you don't exist?

You are my true love,
The lover in my dreams,
Please tell me how to find you.

Like a wilting rose,
your petals break and cascade
from your too tired body.

Isn't it funny how things,
are most beautiful
right before they
die.

I gaze upon your beauty
Breathtaking in its wonder
I lie nestled in exquisite solitude
Beholding your majesty
King to my Queen
In hushed reverence
Dominating my vision
Noble in simplicity
I surrender myself to your moment
Giving up my heart
Abandoning all sensibility
Knowing you will never forsake me
Lulled by the gentle flooding
Of desire to never leave this place
Or your fascination
