it kills me, it kills me how I have to watch as others can't see what I see.

The story of your language you speak so happily.

How your heart is without much of a worry.
How you talk more when you're silent.
How your mind is just so brilliant.
How you look up to the ones you trust.
How you love to entertain.

Telling you is a must.

But not being able to drives me,
insane.
I remember how I used to admire said person. What a time that was. Cant quite remember when this was written but I know **** well who it’s about.
What's the probability of probably?
Is the square root of attraction,
You and is the variable me?
You're wicking me out,
All my facts start to feel like fiction,
And 2+2 is starting to look more like you.
Haven't written anything new in a hot minute. Been focusing on her.
A fact is a non-arguable statement,
But a statement is defined fact,
Through observations and experimentation.

Today a fact was patented,
By the college of my love for you,
The fact is; You are beautiful, that is it.
This goes out to my beautiful fan from the seemingly invisible areas of the internet. An anonymous figure that I see shine brighter than the sun.
Strike me down baby,
Strike me down.
Take me to the dance floor,
Let me see the fire in your eyes.
Move with that passion,
I yearn to see.
I'll catch you if you fall,
While pouring your heart out.
So while were still young,
Move those hips.
And hit me up,
Looking good,
Looking fly,
Looking like I might just have to try,
Something crazy to be your guy.
Don't leave me hanging baby,
Your wild fire tames me.
So do the ballet,
Of the modern world,
Let me watch while you twirl.
And leave me lusting,
Once again.
Inspired by "Come On Eileen," picked me right up again.
You're the harmony,
For my melody.
You're the piano,
To my singing.
Your the calm,
To my anger.
The beat,
To my rap.
I'm tired because I stayed up late working on our playlist. And I don't regret it.
Everything is great!
Working a little slow,
As it is the holidays.
Just letting you know,
Everything is working out.
Thank you all for your work, this is a dream come true. The poem is already so beautiful, I love the way all of your work melds together into this. As always, if you would like to join this effort, please write one to five lines and either email them to me at hardisonabbott@gmail.com or private message me on here. If you chose to submit more than one line, I cannot guarantee that all of them will be used aside from one. Please keep all submissions free of x rated language or references as I want all of this site's users to be able to read this. The same goes for any instances of, racism, sexism, religious discrimination, extreme violence, or any other derogatory statements or references. You may write anything about coping with/fighting against these things though. I haven't had a problem with this yet, but I want to keep it that way. Please include your name/pen name in your submission that way I can credit you. Do not copy lines from other works such as other poems that are not yours, books that are not yours, or movies that are not yours. Unless of course, you have consent from the author. I do not want anyone getting upset that their work was used without consultation. Steer free from AI generated content, I won't check for it, but please keep it original. I want to hear your voice, not chat GPT's. This is all for now, if you have any questions please email me or private message me, thank you all for your support! <3
Everything,
Is going great,
So many beautiful poets,
This poem is forming fine.

But there is a lot to go through,
So, please, don't worry if I don't get back to you right away.
I ensure that all submissions will be included,
And that my "thank you" is coming soon.
Thank you so much to everyone doing this, I cannot express my gratitude enough. :)
As per usual if you would like to participate please send me your submission through email at hardisonabbott@gmail.com or through private message on this website, it would really help out if you do not comment your submission. Please include the name you would like me to include in the credits. Thank you!
If you would like to submit more than one line, you may. (Though I can not ensure I will be able to use more than one of your lines. I will try my best.)
I haven't had any problems with this yet, but please do not include any adult language. I want all users to be able to view this work of art.
We still need 284 poets.
That's all for now, and again, I am so thankful for all your hard work guys. The fact that this is actually happening makes my heart swell.

They say "peace flows like a river"
But I find it
Among the trees
And babbling brooks
And somehow when
I'm standing next to you.

The mossy rocks
And moonlit skies
Sooth my Soul
And somehow
So does time
Spent with you.

Moments of serenity
Come to me
On playgrounds
And with bare feet
Underneath green canopies
And somehow amidst your energy.

Chipmunks and hammock swings
Bring joy to me
So does silence away
From city lights; and starlit skies
And somehow
The blue hues in your eyes.

It’s a quiet night, and I lie alone in my bed. The silence wraps around me like a suffocating shroud, no soft whispers to break it, no gentle words to ease the stillness. Beside me, my phone rests motionless, its screen dark, your name absent, leaving the night untouched by your laughter. The other side of the bed feels empty and cold, unmarked by your presence, no warmth, no outline, no trace of you. The air feels dense, pressing down on my chest as though carrying the weight of your absence. Each passing second grows louder, the ticking of time a relentless reminder of the quiet taking over. Above, the stars blink lazily, their distant light shimmering as if in mockery. They shine, indifferent to the longing coursing through me, the ache left by the void where you should be. I close my eyes and try to summon your face, your smile beside mine, but the image drifts like a ghost, fading with every breath. The quiet deepens, filling me with a hollowness only you could chase away. The hours stretch, cruel and unyielding, each moment a thief robbing me of rest. Though I know the morning will eventually come, I wish, more than anything, that you were here beside me tonight.
