a little ray of sunshine
with a sprinkle of happiness
Can be found even in the darkest days
At sunflower gardens
random thoughts

When I am outside I am content,
until I grow too warm
and humid
and long to be
inside.

And when I am inside,
I long for the sunlight
and the lazy summer wind,
and I shiver
and can’t make up my
mind.
Restless on a Friday afternoon. Where's the compromise? I can't stop looking out the window...
random splashes of cerise
were painted in the eve sky
they predicted a morrow
of beaming sunshine

Sunshine on my skin
Pavement rippling like waves
Summer's heart is now.

We tried to be together.
You are the sunshine.
I am the storm.
We are the sunshower.

But....

Everything is temporary
A fleeting moment of bliss
You can't calm the storm,
so you stop trying.
I can't stay in your light,
so I stop coming.

We've come to accept
that sunshines and storms
can never be together.

You lost your brightness
Your happiness.
Your smiles.
I've got to let you go.

But there will be a rainbow
A haunting reminder
that once in our lifetime
our paths crossed.
Part 3 of Contraire and Sunshower

Let the stars in the sky plummet
on their own
Let the flowers sway
The wind is just the wind
and nothing more
Let the angels sing their songs
and let the devils
shed their snakeskin
Let all the girls and boys
my age be happy
Let the sunshine sliver
across their skies
Let them walk into the sunset with love
ablaze in their eyes
And leave  me free
to wonder why
I do not feel the same
What are you up to these days?
