Luke 12:49
“I came to bring fire to the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled!”

This wasteland, desolate vegetable garden
No crops will grow, no sun will shine
No cool breeze to clean the air
of the smell of decomposition
Just dead things, the decay of man and dreams of hope
Which my black boots stomp on
I walk the ruin in silence

I walk past a monster sleeping by a tree
Turning, frowning
The monster is me
Its eyes are as red as judgement day
As red as the faces of the condemed
Those who stare at the 144 000, wondering if they are worthy
As red as the blood ******* in this ancient garden

This is a battleground
Oozing with pain, pleasure, splendor and misery
Even if Pythia already circled the loser's name in bright red
Allowing the victors to trample holy ground underfoot
Before they disappeared
But me
I stood here
Feeling all feeling being drained out

I walked past a monster weeping by a tree

“Everything good must come to an end,”
Mystery says
Pursing her lips
“And so must everything wicked
But the memories
Those which encircle their victim
And slowly tighten like great snakes
Suffocating their prey
Those last forever
And if those memories last forever
Then how can one remain pure in heaven
Without thinking about sin
Temptation must surely creep in
Poisoning the mind until it is consumed with the idea
Who is pure anyway?”
I know she is lying
(Turning)
But her words are surreal, slurred, seductive
(Frowning)
I look inside my heart to reassure myself
(Turning)
There is hope
(Frowning)
But there’s nothing there

(And the monster is me)

In the vegetable garden
A ruin
A wasteland
I stand
Not really existing

You, who have doomed us
Murdered our children and our futures
Oppressed us under the name of
Progress
Watch in terror as we rise
We are done suffering
For the sake of
Worthless money
This is our home
And you are poisoning it
You pollute our waters
Contaminate our air
Burn our planet
No more!
It is time for you to remember
Why nobility of old feared

Every tree begins as a seed
Every revolution is formed by a need
Any man can see the demands
But the legends of the future are the ones making plans

Hey,
are you happy?
You say you're happy?
I see your plastic smile!

Don't try to tell yourself
that you can't see me.
You can see,
and I've been here a while.

I've seen generations come and go.
I've watched the embers glow and fade
with every failed crusade.

Well-meaning souls drawn down devil's path.
Each further than the last.
Never learning from the past.

But you made your choices.
Turned salvation to incarceration.
Ignored the voices
of the ones who awoke first.
Those who braved the jaws of fear,
while you sought to sate your thirst
for the empty affirmation of your peers.

You hold inside your hand
the key to a new world.

             push the button

It's not too late to make a stand.
But don't let yourself be fooled.

The masters of technology are feeding you your fate!

              push the button

              push the button

              push the button

So lap it up.
**** at the **** of your destruction.
Fill your cheeks with satisfaction
from the sickly residue of all your sins,

and with every interaction
you fuel the chain reaction
that feeds the fires of evil deep within.

When will you wake up?
How will you make up
for three thousand years of ignorance and shame?

When your time runs out and the cycle starts again,
you'll only have yourselves to blame!

              push the button

I see you pointing at me now. Look! You say.
But you don't understand why they don't see...

They're blinded by the lights
as they post and like,
swipe left or right.

So I'm just out of sight.

This is a revolution,
For we are only human!
We must rebel,
For can't you tell,
This is a revolution?

To be free
We must be
Revolutionary!

We will fight day or night,
We will march for the right,
String me up on a cross,
No spirit is lost!

If I am gone
Then we are wronged
My spirit will live--on!

We will not rest 'till all is past
We'll fight until the very last
This is our creation--
For this is a revolution!

And maybe this will never end,
And I will never be your friend,
But we must try!

For
This is a revolution!
Written as a letter-poem-song.
Chips, chips! Marbles!
Chips off the block
From marble to rubies
To granite and pearls

Chips,dust,quarry
All  off the block
Tower highly high
In mighty Eiffel's image

Chips, pointing hands
Laugh spitefully
at the block
"We are masters"
They say

"If that were so"
Says I, mighty leopard
Then would my spots
So change to blue

"Alas"! says father tortoise
If it were true
Then my legs would
Carry me
In Hermes' sandals

Yet, they see not
That they are but
Shadows cast from
Ancient, blunt, mirrors.
History repeats itself

A young and beautiful, but wretched soul,
Dreamt in an enchanted world of her own,
With enraptured stallions and unicorns,
Far away from the brutal world so widely known,
But little did she know, the doom of her fantasy land is close.

Long was the string of her heartfelt desires,
She wanted to gaze at the infinite stars,
And eagerly waited to whoosh to Mars,
Away from negativities and deep scars,
But little did she know, she'd always be on the radar.

Incessant lookouts for an escape,
Made her wearied, sick and frail,
It was then that the realisation kicked her brain,
For what is she suffering so much pain?
For a world that is best at growing only wolf's bane?

After a month of Sundays, time finally chipped in,
When she could take the world out for a spin,
To vanquish the conventionality like a fiery levin,
Now was the time to declare that she won't take it on the chin,
And little did the world know of its approaching ruin.

Prepared to confront the imposed tyranny one-on-one,
She took it by surprise like a curve ball,
Then the insurgence began bold and tall,
"Why are women objectified as puppet dolls?
Why do taboos exist only for womenfolk?"

Appalled by her fearless defiance,
The world warned her against such resistance,
And swore to banish her existence,
The girl merely snorted and said "to hell with your dominance",
And little did the world know, it'd be soon thrown into a vortex.

Shining from within like a blaze of sunlight,
Powered up by vexation from her plight,
She broke the ancient shields of the dark skies,
And swallowed the ossified world with plumes of her divine light,
Yet little did she know, she has pioneered a new set of star lights.

The revolution's in the way of my evening plans.
A little spitfire bounced, your days are numbered.
Ooh, leap out of the fire and into the lukewarm pan.
There's nothing I don't believe in, so join in and dance.
Don't forget, you're just an infant sitting and singing brambles.
So let's go down the street and forget, the drug always enchants.
One two three days long, do not run this one's only the preamble.
I didn't proofread this one wrote it while incredibly high, I hope it's good.
