A gentle smile to shroud the lightning
My face must never forebode
The pounding thunder within me
While my heart is lost in melancholy eyes

The lightning danced around all of my body...
Storm on my skin..
It was a beautiful feeling..
That came from with in..

It was a healing thunder bolt..
Without thunder..
It surged through me..
With such wonder..

I seemed to have done it in my sleep..
I thought it to be a dream..
I had an unknown terrible sickness..
And it was life threatening it seemed..

But through imagination..
And unbondless lucid dreams..
I activated a small evoultion..
Within my bloodstream..
A beautiful dream I had about healing lightning.. Strange. The pains I had in my body are all now gone..

Muted lightning flies
Thunder rumbles close behind
Torrents of raindrops

Sit too much.
I stand, too.
Move?
It hurts to move.
I do move -
Right through pain.
Pain = Life.
And so I flagellate.

You visit often
A storm visible in the distance.
Your presence made,
Striking my heart.
Finding me where I go.
Your trial easily found.
Stirring anticipation.
My fear,
My inspiration lit across the sky.
Bringing out the best in me.
The shadows lit by your presence.
Thunder echoes.
Scattered a million and one times
Filling the gaps of silence.
The gaps where my voice aches & you are nowhere to be found.
The gaps where my heart throbs & yours begins.
I am in love enjoying the storm.
You come closer
My ache no longer visible.
The leaves shutter
Blown away by your kiss.
Passionate yet deep.
You strike.
Finding me in the crackle of thought.
The best of me flashing across the sky
Piercing my heart without warning.
Without cease
The way you love.
The way you seek & I find.
Struck by the lightning that is you

her eyes looked liked oceans were trapped there:
stormy and tortured
beautiful and captivating.

her was like ribbons running down her face:
smooth and flowing
stunning and graceful.

her smile was like flowers blooming in the Spring:
sweet and adorable
amazing and loved.

everything about her was lightning:
scary and sharp
intriguing and electric.
inspired by my bestfriend, who's been through o much that she deserves a poem about her.

Your eyes hit me
like a bolt of lightning
and the fire we started
burned me to the ground.
