I thought I heard you say
that life is precious
But then you turn your face away
from all these persons

How can you be so blind
and take the wrong for right ?
how can you say you care
and not mend this mistake?

Your mouth preaches love
yet you see the injustice and write it off
because it's more convenient
to forget your values when your help is needed.

You've seen their problems
you know their sorrows and their losses
but you have deemed these causes
worthless and broke your promises.

So come join hands and help them
listen to your heart, now is when
push away the learned indifference
actions, not words is what has significance.
This is a first draft of a poem exhorting people to stop being indifferent towards war refugies.
They are blank, blank, blank
Your eyes, they bear nothing
But I sank, sank, sank
Into the depths of this "nothing"

Masked in an expressionless face,
there's nothing more to erase...
there's no beauty, there's no grace
But why do I still go upon your pace?

It's all black, black, black
It's a pool of no return
But you're still back, back, back
How come you survived your left turn?

Bizarre it is, you came through the day
To the flowers a'blooming in the springs of May
Swallowed it whole, the sun's lightning ray
I know I cannot escape, but may I be here to stay?
Your eyes

"Blind Sea"

Marked, said to be,
I'm losing you, slowly,
but surely.

Fallible, it seems.
Love lost, unforeseen.
Tell me, now,
not knowing differently.

Horizon line, in all is bent.
Hand imprint on sand.
Tears sent out to sea.
Captain this ship.
Its capsize was meant,
to be.

Fire works,
as an opposing element.
Overhead, wind sweeps the air.
Pulling apart; distressed, the flare.

Beautiful is the night, at its
darkest shade.
All is still, beckoning for a whisper.
Then the deck overflows with heat.
Bodies never felt are touched,
communication brought with it,
a raid.

One can only hope to keep dignity.
When people panic, you see
their true colors.
The Captain rests with his ship.
The others, have others.

There's something intriguing about how people find solace and happiness with each other.

A rather complex feeling I couldn't be bothered about.

In such situation, I'm most interested in the party that's compromising his/her true freedom to share the other's

You took me
And packed me away
I felt unloved and alone
And you made me neither of those
From the beginning
I loved you and appreciated you
And felt sad
That I would hurt you some day.
Swallowed the sun
  in attempts to
       feel the fire,
dimly lit universe
   eclipsed neath
    inescapable moons,
horizons were hued of
  brackish tea's
   indifferent sympathy,
as solar systems' fate
      lost in darkly orbits,
  relinquished their balance

I decay like moist poison
coursing through one's veins,
indifference
releasing its contents
to a greater system.
Set your summer language
beneath your fingertips
and let it lick pages,
fiddling its own way.
Do not let your words die.
Sweat and scream
ugly whispers into the fog.
Let your tongue fight the
bitter taste of death
and indifference

I could write about anything
and no one would stop and think.
Everything's been said before.
Rephrased and repositioned
to the point of impotency.

You make me hate you.
Despise you.
All I want is for everything
To be over between us
Like you never existed.
Like WE never existed.

Your existence joined with
Mine is a crime.
I want to separate the two
Making sure they never
Join. Ever.

You've poisoned us,
Your thoughts have maligned me
Making me the bad guy.
But if walking away from you
Makes me one, I will be

I never wanted to hate you
Even when you were on
The path to destroy us
But I've had enough
Of all the name calling and
the baseless acquisition
The lack of trust

I want to wipe those
Memories.
The time we spent together
The laughter we shared

I want to **** the love
I had for you.
All that I did for you
Negated by the words you said

They say hatred is not
The opposite of love,
but indifference is
But the passionate the
Love is, the harsher the
Hate would be.

You've ignited a fire
Inside me, fire that won't
Be put out
You've made me hate you
And I'm glad about that
