Soaring over the idyllic fields of poet's day dreams
an opening exposes some endless blue
the sun cast's his golden rod
and waits while humming his bright tune

Suddenly submerged
for his bait we had chewed
turbulence drops yellow bags
and white fog blinds our view

The sun is toying with us
letting the line out farther and farther
the old sun and the sky
a departure within a departure

Finally the sun pulls the line
screaming, we steady then ascend
are we going higher now?
better make amends
                                 via amens

Look all the fog is gone
this isn't the suns pole
the light is fleeing and
this cabinet grows so cold

The air thins into non existence
yet somehow we can breath
in these celestial waters
watch as the earth takes her leave

Reeling faster now
how these stars pass by
what's beyond the celestial sphere
this fisherman sure is spry

Finally a golden gleam approaches
splash through the pearly gates
into the net of heaven
pietistic fingers embrace

An omniscient voice speaks
NOT AGAIN, ANOTHER USELESS CAN?
and he tossed this metal heap away
who do I eat and who do I romance

It's going to be a long journey home.

Forgive me for I have fallen
From the fair sky
And ruined your beautiful wings
That you had made for me alone

And yet as I plummet
Plumes prancing about my descent
Your gift is even more lovely
Each fragile piece flickering in the sunset

And as I am burnt from heaven
With third degree burns of passion
I will bask in the flames
My body branded black to the bone

A coal to light another pyre
As my passing brings another life
My cries converted to cries anew
In the larynx of another love

My breath beat shallow at a chest of stone as I looked out
At all of our houses that seemed so small from whence I stood
The sky’s true and radiant blue, I discovered at this altitude
Cloud rings spiraled down, the sun beams reflected off my goggles -
And my arms felt stiff, strapped into wings of enchanted brass
When all of a sudden a gust swept –
Me from the tip of my ride with such haste!
From a cloud boat I dropped and gasped for my life!
Cyclones of wind paddled my body and blew back my hair…
From a tumble, to falling with such grace,
I soared with a smile over my tiny little city -
And yearned at the horizon in its majesty -
This moment and its treasures I had stolen for me.

I look at stars hanging like light bulbs in the sky, such an heavenly view , but It doesn't compare to the glowing of your eyes everytime you smile.

I see the birds flying high in the sky and I sometimes wonder if I could fly like them ,but I noticed that everytime you say a simple hello to me, I get butterflies in my stomach that makes me feel like im flying already.

How beautiful it is to have a friend, how lovely it sounds to know you are always there like the air.
Flying here is alot like falling
Only falling here seems.....
To be like bumping into a long lost friend....
One your not quite sure
You had ever missed until
You speak again
The words spilling out
Like *** over poured inside a tiny
Flask....

You begin remembering dvery detail
Of those forgotten days
And memories seem
To reappear... only different...
Like you forgotten why
You had ever stopped trying to
Fly....

High as you were in those younger days...
At least theres braincells left
To recall why
Sometimes its best to
Leap in good faith.....
Remembering......
That only birds fly
But fallings bliss
And lifes not forever

His Angel came flying downand landed right in front of me
He put his arms around me he looked DEEP into
my eyes and he said "I am leaving you,
I hope the lessons of our past lives can sustain you"
through the coming tough times. And just with that my Angel
flew up up above and he disapeared.
