I gaze upon the beauty
Of the orchid,
And nibble at the sweet, succulent,
Raspberry drupelets.
I breath deep the scent
Of your roses
As your nectar, my skin,
Overuns.
With every sensation
You
Take me through Eden.
And our travels have just
Begun.
A door
of trust
there may
open this
floodgate as
more orientals
come to
America again
in hopes
that their
meeting now
succumb as
such their
people live
well here
and want
eqaul pay.

there's too much light in this place.
i've got to close my eyes and remember.
sit with me a while and remember,
for remembrance is more important when
you have scars on the wrists of time,
on the wrists of your mind, and
everything inside of you is yearning.

tell me how you really feel
about me and i'll try to stop wishing for your love
if it isn't what i wanted to hear.
i promise.
"so tell me how am i supposed to see the magic? cause i don't believe in it no more"

Spenser Bennett Nov 2016
Let he who is without stones commit the first sin
And you sip that whisky again and again

What images cloud your mental sky
Why am I the subject of your judgement
When you know not of my designs
Forego your ego and see, no, believe in her judgement

Don't you understand that there is no control
You don't want to let go
I know, I know, I know
But her life is her own

I promise I'm not the serpent you believe me to be
I won't disrupt the garden to turn over new leaves
Eden holds no fruit for me

This is to you, you know who you are
I beg you to listen to the voice within your heart
And to not pass verdict upon strangers from afar
Mysidian Bard Sep 2016
I'm the cold hard ground
But she is the gentle rain
That makes flowers grow
You are my paradise
You are my up, never my down
You were...

You are my paradise lost
My eden lost to ashes
Ever since
You've been gone

Dying animals trapped in barbed wire
Man-made men all flailing to conspire
To cross the sea of destiny for hope
to design their own form of misanthrope

Building fences of ignorance and tears
for the respect of their own group of peers
Creating borders to destroy their own wealth
to hasten the decline of their own health

Living animals limitless and free
with untold abundance and scarcity
Roaming the planet to frolic and breed
to the farthest reaches spreading their seed

Happy with total harmony and peace
with no concept of coverings or fleece
Communicating only by their senses
unless of course they start building fences
