If I could take back each conversation we shared,

Every stare.

Every glare,

If I take back every kiss,

Every embrace should I?

I wouldn't rewind a moment,

And don't wish to take back any of it.

I always start with a bang
Watching the fireworks display

And the one person I speak to
At exactly midnight

Is usually tradition

I get my chance to restart

This year starts
With a broken heart

And a soul left
