Chocolate ice cream running
down my pudgy chin
licking it up quickly
like it's liquid sin

This sweet stuff really makes me
do a little dance
but my *** is spreading
in my yoga pants

I'm gonna have to stop it
and put it down for good
even though I hate to
I know I really should

I'll eat it in the morning
and then again at night
it's no ****** wonder
my pants are getting tight

I could pray to God in heaven
make a wish upon the moon
or stop being so lazy
and just put down the spoon

Of that cold spring day when our hands froze
Clutching cones of your favorite strawberry ice cream

Of the following warm summer day when my favorite
Chocolate ice cream coated our tongues

Of that day we escaped our classes
And found ourselves held captive
By the soft cherry ice
With nuts on top

Of bubblegum sonnets, of almond praline declarations of love
Of fig and honey serenades
With soft coffee angels singing in the back
And cookie cream cherubs whispering in our ears.

Of the best first taste.

Of the worst last lick.
I will never forget the person who taught me to see life beyond just Nutella ice cream; to explore all the flavors of the world.

there's a world all around that is nothing as it seems
what we see may not be there or is it our mind in disappear
rivers of colors flow, as golden fish jump out of the pond as they begin to freeze
the clouds are sliver  the sky is pink
this cannot not be real or so we think
the more we see we cannot believe
as it start to rain falling leaves
they hit the ground and grow into trees
being confused you continue you decide to walk
to the ocean to see the sea
but the water in the ocean is not what you think
it  is soft like wiped cream and has cherries floating that are pink
you mind must be having a melt down
or your eyes need to get fixed
because something  must be playing  a weird kinda trick
then you see you brain up in the air
you try to catch it but it looks at you with a stare
so you  grab a ladder and climb on up
take hold of your brain as you wake back up
on the couch you sit up
as you look out into the sky
everything is back to normal
then you let out a relieving sigh
for you will never know what caused this
all you can do is be more careful next time

Three sugars. No cream.
Stuck inside a 4 A.M. Dream
And there's nothing I can't do
Is the sky really black or just dark blue?

No cars, no souls save preying police
Their lights burn red and scream, "Freeze!"
And the night obliges
For it is not so mighty

Glass half full, still starving
Clouds overmind work their sky carving
Of all my favorite fluffy animals
Are vampires iron deficient cannibals?

The sun soon breaks like an egg on the edge
And the dream skitters light spiders from my head
Eyes pressed to withered pillow sheathing
Is this morning or deeper evening?

Am I waking from the dreaming
Or am I sleeping next to coffee steaming?

Why am I chasing an ice cream van?
I asked, as after the van I ran....
Is this futility? I held out my hand-
Shall I ever be chased by this man?
Why does anyone chase an ice cream van?
No one is pursued by the ice cream man,
Running after a van in this heat is dippy,
Why sell our souls for Mr. Whippy?
With the crowds I did compete,
I bought soft serves, to survive the heat,
As that callous van drove down the street,
But, with ice cream, my soul is replete!
A bit of light hearted fun. Feedback welcome.

Driving to the city
Under the blazing lights
We stop at a little ice cream shop
Chocolate rocks for you
Strawberry kisses for me
You tell me about your parents
Your mother's secret recipe
I tell you about my dreams of flying
Dancing on the beach
All only for the blissful summer
And all of a sudden
Dusk has fallen upon us
The night no longer so dark
When your eyes light up my fire

She is a beautiful sight
As she she walks across the room
To fetch my creamy delight

Oh how i miss her so
Standing there across the room
At a counter of cream froze

And i know shell be back soon
So i have to say goodbye
Cause im a goon
Ice cream

Forever an ******* deprived from grief
Because the girl she wants had to leave
Her want for her is excessive
Because her heart, it forever rests
And you claim I should have no excuses
But,
Look at what you do?
The Rose that has broken you,
This isn't what she'd want you to do
But that's none of my business
I'll keep sipping tea till I'm through.
I love black tea with a little sugar and cream.
