I've got a list of songs
About how this started,
Ranging back a month or two.
And when I give them all a listen
In a straight line,
I can't help but think of you.
You'll hit your friend
And go to hell
If it won't cost you a dime.
You'll wish me well
And drink to me
But I can't make you mine.
I'm tired of settling
For milquetoast men who cause me pain.
Every time he looks at me,
I see you staring back in vain.
He only wants to **** me
And maybe **** me up.
And I'm convinced he's only human
When ***** fills his cup.
And in spite of all the danger,
I'm gonna stick around.
Even if that ******* on his bike starts
To weigh me down.
Cause I can't turn back now
And I can't change the past.
And I can't make sure that that last relapse
Will surely be your last.
But I'll stay with you
And bargain through
Til this day fall south.
And I'll lend my words
And fight with you until my teeth hurt my mouth.
What's on my mind is
I can do better
And I can find a guy
Who won't spend his time wandering around,
Trying to get a free ride.
They let you off easy,
But I can't do the same.
So *******, honey,
I'm sick and tired of playing games.
Like Lennon said,
we're playing mind games
And you make me feel that I'd be better off dead.
Twist my pain
And make it your own
And I'll do the same.
But the outcome for both of us is clearly the same.
We're both headed for destruction
But you will follow through.
It's gonna happen some day but between he two of us,
I would rather it be you.

When words are left unspoken,
where do they go?
Do they stay in our hearts
waiting patiently to escape?
or do they leave us
for we missed the chance.

What if we all spoke
those words we were to afraid to say before.
Would the world be a better place
or would it still be this wasted wonderland

bravery doesn't
happen overnight
bravery
has been living in your
bones, dormant,
but alive,
waiting for you
to see that it has
always been yours
waiting for you
to marvel when you
see that you can do
what you've always
wanted to do
and be who
you've wanted to be

'She ain't much of an explorer.'

Wide eyed, stares go blind when poorly aimed
And you have had much practice,
But still, you miss and shoot wildly,
Afraid of your own fogged visions.

And how, how do you think of
All those wild horizons
Where your hero rides into the sun, but
You're too afraid to follow?

I tell you I'm leaving, you ask me, why?
I tell you I've left.
You call me brave, but I'm not.
You're just too much of you.

You ain't much of an explorer.
Another one! Another day!

You forget that you're good.
You forget that you're kind, and gentle and caring.
People have been so callous with you that you forget that you are not the sum of their mistakes,
and you are not to blame for the damage that was done to you.
You forget.
You forget that you are full of  good intent, that you're thoughtful and creative.
You're so used to being made to feel stupid and selfish that when someone brings out the beauty in you,
all you feel is guilt.
You have a heart of gold.
You would never do to people what they have done to you.
There is a light in you that remains bright even with the layers of charcoal that surround it.
Don't forget.
**Don't forget that you're good.
****** things happen to us,
but you are not what happened to you.
You are not a ****** person.
Don't forget.

Let's get down to business,
To defeat the bad ones,
Did they send me daughters?
When I asked for sons...

You're the saddest bunch I ever met,
But you can bet before we're through,
Miss, I'll make a man, out of you...

Tranquil as a forest,
But on fire within,
Once you find your centre,
You're sure to win,

You're a spineless, pale, pathetic lot,
And you haven't got a clue,
Somehow I'll make a man, out of you,

I'm never gonna catch my breath,
Say good-bye to those who knew me,
Boy, I was a fool in school for cutting gym,
This guy's got me scared to death,
I hope he doesn't see right through me,
Now I wish I really knew how to swim!

To be a man,
You must be as swift as the coursing river,
To be a man,
Need all the forces like a great typhoon,

To be a man,
Need all the strength of the raging fire,
Be mysterious as the dark side of the moon!

Time is racing towards us,
As the bad ones arrive,
Heed my every order,
And you might survive,

You're unsuited for the rage of war,
So pack up, go home, you're through,
How could I make a man, out of you?

To be a man,
You must be as swift as the coursing river,
To be a man,
Need all the forces like a great typhoon,

To be a man,
Need all the strength of the raging fire,
Be mysterious as the dark side of the moon!
From Tobias to Tris before her first wrestling match against Peter,
as well as before the big battle against the Erudite.
Inspired By Mulan.

Once upon a time of darkness
I came upon my greatest fear
It thickened
And twirled through
It made me stiff
As I grew near
I freeze,
I don't know what to do
I just hope I'll make it through*

It haunts me as I walk through life
This fear it cuts me
Sharp as knives

We're vulnerable to this lethal fear
But if you challenge
If you fight
This fear can no longer
Rule the night

The man stepped down from his horses' back,
As he swept to save the lady.
His eyes swept across the enemy's rack.
And it seemed too quiet to be shady.

He heard her cries and all her pain,
As the gunshots around him echoed.
He knew that to walk forth meant his life was slain,
His doom was all that beckoned.

He walked on past, to the enemy's shack,
And all he saw was the lady.
He took her hand and led her back,
His soul left to hades.

The day he lost, all fell was rain.
As they respected this brave old sailor.
And as he went, a smile retained,
And that was the smile of valour.
