Familial the ties siblings we are
Brought up with love care discipline and protection
Values inculcated deep
Respect and love we all each other
Hold it strong in the heart
Hurt we can never bring to each other
Stand together in testing times forever
Raising high the baton of love today
Passing it on to the generation next
To relay it in the timeless tomorrow
Raksha Bandhan - the festival of the bond of love and protection, shared by brothers and sisters .
The sister ties a sacred thread / amulet on the brother’s wrist , and prays for the well being and protection of her brother.
The brother promises the same and showers the sister with gifts .

i envy those who do not feel so hard
or think too deeply
because **** this **** is exhausting
trying to find the perfect words
or trying to find the reason for everything
i’m tired

I wrote a poem when I died...
Another at my birth.
A brand-new sonnet when I cried.
And again when there was mirth.

A song for my confession...
A story for my pain...
A painting for depression...
And nursery rhymes for rain.

My creations live inside my heart.
I keep them there in shame.
Yet you looked around and saw my art,
And smiled all the same.

white pages before me
pure as snow

no mark, no scratch
no story to show

page after page
waiting to be used

patient, at peace
excited, and amused

each page a day
of the future world

anticipating the time
when their purpose will unfold

who will be a part of them?
everyone but those yet to be

who will enjoy them most?
the people who now get ready

BROKEN

in the night
a dish is broken.
In my sleep
I find a token.

Within my dreams
We are a ghost
Lost in time
A forgotten piece
Of life's moments
That always
means the most

Only the most…..
......Only The most.
Are any of these movements real,
or are they made up
by people with too much time
on their hands and sold
to other people
with similarly idle minds?
Trump.

Antifa.

Unite the Right.

Fox News.

CNN.

Social media platforms.

Slogans.

Peer groups and all
their graphic tees, pins, and hats.

Support this.

Down with that.

What ever happened
to plaid flannel shirts,
blue jeans,
and cords?

Whatever happened
to waving to someone,
asking them how their day was going,
and talking about the weather?

Everything leads to
controversy,
gossip,
and politics now.

Nothing is a secret anymore.
Nothing is personal.
Nothing is shocking.
Nothing is sacred.

Everyone is on a side
and the middle is cracking
and on the edge of breaking.

Poetic T
Beauty is braille
written in the fingertips.

Never reading a word upon you,
              as my palms were pages.

And you were every word on them.
Grinning wide by the riverside
two bubbly girls click shots
between them whisper confide
share the secret thoughts!

The giggly cutes they walk like dance
caught in a sunlit pause
not mind the boys stealing glance
seems not worth a cause!

Their cells follow where they go
the lens beamed right on face
one more please and then one more
frames add up happiness!

I was watching the sun go down
pretty much in a fix
light was getting dullish brown
would turn darkish by six!

The urge was great surged the will
it grabbed the whole of mind
to have a photo me standing still
with the river flowing behind!

The butterfly girls in the sun's last kiss
they readily said o yes
each of them took a shot apiece
my joy you can easily guess!
