I never imagined
Death could be beautiful
But then I saw the autumn leaves
NahKe Oct 2014
Bruised and broken
Lost and confused
Painful memories
Loved yet misused

Kicked to the curb
Pushed aside
Pulled by the hair
No one who cares

A life lived in pain
Running away
Alone into the forest
Suicide in Pouring Rain.

the first time I saw her,
everything in my head fell silent.
her eyes were reflections of galaxies
so many have gotten lost in before me.
her lips formed a smile like a flickering candle,
but a smile nonetheless.
her hair was let loose like a restless ocean.
she was breathtaking.
and it was when i felt my heart skip a beat
that i knew *i had to have her.

What if all of a sudden your heart stops beating.
What if suddenly you're not breathing.
Have you lived the way you wanted to?
Have you done the things you had to do?

What if all of a sudden you're not here.
What if suddenly you disappear.
Will you pass as a legend, or a flop?
Were you a complete disaster, or were you on your way to the top?

What if all of a sudden you leave.
What if suddenly you leave everyone in grieve.
Will they remember you as a wonderful person to be around,
or as a depressed, wounded person who didn't make a sound?

What if all of a sudden you're gone.
What if suddenly everyone carries on.
What if everyone you once loved forgets who you were.
What if all they remember of you is just a blur.

I caught you smiling,
whirlwind in my stomach.
Why are you hiding?
Can't you see, you're all I wanted?

Undress me with your eyes,
let your lips be my disguise.
I want you to be mine,
I know it's not the right time.
Show me your soft side,
there's a guy in you, the one I like.
I know its there, just let go, be bare.

Why are you hiding?
I saw you smiling.
A smile full of hurt, eyes tired of crying.
I wanna be there for you,
you need to see that I care.
Just grant me your trust,
I'll show you; I'm trustworthy.
Give me this one chance
and I'll love you till the end.

I will not try to fix you,
for there's no fixing needed.
You're perfect the way you are, every corner, every piece.
Believe me, boy, I'm going insane.
Love me now or leave me in pain.

I caught you smiling.
Butterflies everywhere.
Why are you hiding?
Can't you see, I care?

Theres a beauty in a baby, who just opens her eyes and looks up at her mom and gives her this little beautiful smile, lighting up her moms world.

There's a beauty in a little girl who, every time she falls, she gets up, shakes it off, runs to her mom, gives her a big hug and continues doing what she was doing.

There's a beauty in a teenage lady who struggles with puberty; school, broken hearts, insecurity and even pimples, a lady who knows that throughout everything her mom will be there to listen to everything she has to say.

There's a beauty in an adult woman whose confidence comes from experiences;
unemployment, pregnancy, sickness but still calls and visits her mom everyday.

There's a beauty in a Mother, a mom, a blessing.
One who knows exactly when, why and where she has to be when her child is hurt.
One who knows how to love her husband through his stubbornness.
One who trusts The Lord with all her heart.
A woman who can fall, pick herself up, and move on.
A person whom I'll always be able to go to and say "I love you" and be 100% sure that even though she jokes that she doesn't, in her heart she does.
