I’m angry with the people who diseased my brain
I’m angry with myself for being weaker than the pain

our lips will never meet
nor our fingers intertwine
and so bless my dreams
for indulging what's not mine

On the clock there was a tick,
That never seemed to make it
It's desire was to stop,
But it was captive to the tock.
So, the tick kept spinning round,
Irriated by its own sound,
It had pleaded for release,
But time is hungry like a beast.
The tick will never find an end,
It will consume you and you're friends,
It will keep on running with the tock
Because it is time, or it is not.
Don't speak harshly,
Your words will form swords in me

Touch my cheek; speak gently,
And they will form worlds in me

All the praises
    Sweet sugary words
                            need to be ignored
To unearth the truth

Screens filled with data and words
Too much information, it blurs
Together, thick, unwieldy,
Lacking in trust or fealty,
Too much together,
Lost forever,
A moment.

In descent.

I know you’re
waiting for my text
to reopen our
paradise door.
And if I do,
you know i’ll sink deeper,
stuck in love,
with your soul more.
maybe you’re worth the risk
How many day ones
Does it take to change a lightbulb?

A Poet
I look in the mirror,
10 years passed in a breeze,
older, fatter, a wrinkle begins to form.
Youth begins to evade me,
Yet I do not feel sad nor glad,
I am simply living, okay, content with myself.
Is it not odd? Is it not strange? That I no longer care.
