Starry starry night
Colours blend
Sky ablaze
Stars alight in the sky
Clouds swirling like mist in the sky
The tree of death
Towering towards the sky
The village of red surrounds the tree
Here I am locked up here
Wondering if I'm going to get out
Or am I just going to paint my mind
Til I die
This is a poem based of Vincent van Gough and his painting starry starry night

My wrists ache
my fingers burn
but I will continue
until my heart is empty
purge the thoughts of you
from my jaded memory
my body will quiver
my head will still pound
but until my heart stops bleeding
I will not lay my pen down.

Loving you is like breathing
with asthma
anytime I moved too fast
I tried too hard
I stopped to clean off the dust or smell the flowers
suddenly it wasn't something my body did without thinking
it was something I needed aid with
then after some time it was easy again
I appreciated it so much for a while
then
I took it for granted
and I cleaned again
I planted flowers
I ran towards the future
and I forgot
it isn't always easy to breathe
Any review or criticism is appreciated.

In my eyes, you are my world.
In your eyes, I am just a fan.

My heart is like a cage,
Trapping feelings that it can't let go.
My heart is like a drum,
Hammering away as our skins touch.
My heart is like a rose,
With thorns yet admiration for you.
My heart is like a tower,
Every brick was placed to protect myself from you.
My heart is like glass,
Breaking into pieces as I see you with her.
My heart is now crumbled.

Purple Rain
Her eyes,
Her strength,
The way she looks through the beauty of mine.
She puts me down,
Each and every time.
I think I've fallen down,
Down again.
She pushes me out the window,
I'm guessing we were never friends...
First verse hope you guys like

When a poet falls in love
Things can fall into place
or not
When you love a poet
You cant expect normality
Things inside a poet's head arnt clear.
Things the poet wants are faded.
Obscure.
When you choose to give your heart
There really is
No telling
The outcome.
The poet will try to use the words he's used so well before,
But end up stumbling upon every syllable.
Don't expect something
The breaking of hearts is not intentional.
Just a mere side effect.
Ghosts haunt the mind
Of a poet.
If you are down
To love
Expect
To be
Broken
It *****.
But in the end
Arnt we all broken?
A poet can only try
So hard
Too hard maybe
But it is you
That picks up the knife.
The poet can use words
To try to save you
Because words are all that he's ever had
And they will fail him.
Just as so many have before.
So
If that poet loves you
And says it
He means it.
i meant it
But things can only go so far
And you went over the edge.
She tested a poets words.
How is one to face suicide from a thousand miles away?
This poet cant give up
But only try so much
Before laying the pen down
And say
okay
Because you chose
*to love a poet
