I loved you even more, if that were possible (and it is)
when you introduced your family and I at that cocktail party.
And I had never been to a cocktail party, its just a memory
of watching Hollywood black and white films from the fifties.
All the same I was in love with the whole cocktail thing,
so much so in love with you, I asked you if you would marry me.
Will you marry me ?
Some art and poems— our strokes on paper

And walks among green mountains and sea,

On weekends of a friend visiting, time tapers,

Simple riches, words over ales, wine and tea.
Kanshi had multiple forms, but most notable were in 5 or 7 syllables in 4 or 8 lines. The Japanese poets of kanshi were skilled in the strict rhyming rules of lüshi 律詩 and jueju 絕句, the two forms of the regulated verse that had gained most popularity during the Tang dynasty in China.
The Nothing doesn't care for
riddles or wits
The Darkness isn't picky who's
embraced in it's grips
The Infinite won't mind if you
doubt it exists
The Endless wants nothing with
the scars on your wrists
The Untold collective ignorance
ends in an abyss
The Questions without answers
wither on my lips
'Nothing' exists.

Hayleigh
And being in your arms
felt like coming home
and there was no scent more reassuring
Than the sweet smell of your cologne
as it enveloped me
in sanctity, security,
as the purity of your love
set sail so gently
upon my frail, abandoned, shipwrecked
body.
Your eyes, flooding me,
Your anger, rousing the skies—
Rain drops with my tears.

Kiss them once & never let your lips touch theirs
Tell them all these sweet & lovely things, & act like everything you told them was just a lie
Make eye contact with them, but look through their eyes full of regret
See them everyday, pretend they never existed & look right through their souls
Embrace them & then never touch their skin again
Hold their hand & make sure to leave them wanting more
Make all these good memories with them & leave them hanging like the past few months meant nothing to you
Talk to them every day & let them be part of your daily routine, then one day just completely ignore them & never talk to them ever again

*Thinking thoughts you're Not Aware of
Inspired by a conversation I had with my Mother this morning. I was trying to explain how I can't recall some details of a particular movie due to "spacing out", she retorts "well...no honey you were just thinking thoughts you aren't aware of..."
And I was kinda like stunned in a moment of scratching my head, going huhh...
♡♡♡ I do Love my Mom!
What a Trip ♡♡♡
you, you little
lighthouse of love
your gap-toothed smile
sent out over a bowl of
brown butter porridge
guides me away from
the reef of workday despair.

your hand in mine
so small trusting
and divine
brings me back
to the path
and
out of the dark woods

your cheery wave goodbye
keeps me swimming
through the murk of
the tedious day

and that welcome cuddle
at the end of the day
brings me back to my
home harbour...

you, you little
lighthouse of love
my bearings
my light on the hill
shine on, shine on
todd my four yr oldjust smiled at me....all full of love and trust...now today...
i can...
