It starts with a single time,
you get back up saying you're fine 'till in the dark place you find yourself crying,
temptation seems to work on overtime.

The slightest one you thought would be fun,
regretting it now wanting to run, feeling alone your heart so cold,
it begins to suddenly hit home,
Noticing you're not the only one feeling it ,
hurt them all without meaning it,
while all along they've been screaming it.

This thing I cannot grip,
I've lost all control,
lack of feelings in my soul,
time on time I say I'm done,
promises are made said it was the last one.

Everyones is different,
but in a way the same,
all caught in an over active brain,
each day a new beginning,
not knowing what it will be bringing,
a throw back, a relapse,
here it goes again,
each of us wonder can it ever end.
They think your life's a walk in the park,
when in reality you're finding your way in the dark,
at the beginning there wasn't a mark,
but as I said that was just the start,

You reach out,
Wish you hadn't to shout for help,
Feel unable to assist yourself,
Always the one left on the shelf,

You hate to complain,
But suddenly your crying in the rain,
With the evil thoughts running through your brain,
Always left trying to refrain,

The helpless&selfless; thoughts of the day,
Leave it hard to see the sun rays,
Hiding away,
In one place you stay,
Trying to last the remainder of the way,

With tears in your eyes,
Speaking nothing but lies,
Countless tries, but still you say your fine,

Hoping one day,
You will be able to say,
You made it alive&now; its all okay!

The green and the gold
Worth more than you are ever told
But you're not so bold

She shouted from the roof tops
Her love for him
And how it would never stop

He simply stared at her
In utter shock
nobody could ever love me
Or so he thought...

She smiled with her arms spread apart
Waiting for a response

He stood there silently
Unable to move but wanting to walk
Walk away from the lies
Cause he'd been hurt too many times

She begged and pleaded
Trying to make him believe
It's the truth she said

But he couldn't respond
Simply turned around to leave
women only hurt me
Was all he could believe
Too much pain and abuse
For those lies to become the truth

She sunk inside herself
Filled with pain and so many tears
After years of trying
She finally faced her fears
Only to be hit with rejection
Imperfections of love
Shown at there finest
She couldn't stand her thoughts...

He slowed his walk
Thought about the past
Suddenly came to realize
This life is your last
And there on that roof top
He may have finally found some hope
So he stopped his walk
Turned around to accept the truth
Only to find
That she had jumped off...
I awoke this morning

to  the feeling of being  reborn.

Opening eyes to true beauty

Instead of drowning in fear  and remaining a heart that’s torn.

Shining rays of promise

that reflect from my newer beliefs in my newly found strengths

People greet the new me as the see one who warms their days

with the light that is true selflessness.

Hope in hearts that seek better ways

Strength in numbers of those who walk together

on healthier pathways..

From broken to whole

Out with the useless  Sorrows and then  refilled with  great Hope

We achieve great things when we have a clearer view….

We no longer have to question and magnify the unknown underneath

a distorted view in a microscope.

Breaking free from the limited boundaries of our fears and misunderstandings..

We become open to the limitless lands of promise, brighter ways, and the truer bravery

Brighter futures are our newly found destinations..

Love and Victory Shall come in time…To those enlightened in warmer standings.

From this newer and clearer view

The world becomes a better place

As we rebuild it with materials that were made by the reclaimed strengths that were always inside of you.
The spring warms us with a hotter and more refreshed sun

Shining upon our souls

such rays thaw out the chills that ice over spirits

that lead us to a more dreary daily run.

Smells of fresh green grass

Sights of birds returning from winter migration

sends us out an invitation

To go forth and start anew

to grow in self with others who are close to you.

Fresher breaths of warmer, cleaner, and reborn air

fill our lungs and give us the energies

To succeed anew

As we finish winter’s challenge and never fall

over it’s cold and heavy glares.
