I was a spider
I was the Sun
I was a pagan
I was a traveler
when I was all
I was none..
Ode to my teacher,
oh what a wonderful,
delightful, energetic
teacher.

So full of love,
and patient when
we need it most
my teacher.

It's a shame you
have to go before
the rest of us do.

This is an ode
to you - our teacher
to thank you
for your help along
our way.

You are like the tree
and us the apples of
your eye. Love us-
teacher.

We hold you with the
importance of the sun
for we are the plants
bowing our heads to you -
teacher.

we have used similes
and metaphors
just for you -
our beautiful teacher.

Thank you -
really.
Written on behalf of my entire English Class as a surprise to our student teacher on her final day. I was ill and did not get to see them presenting her with the framed and signed copy but I heard she did cry.

Really though, it's for all the teachers out there going above and beyond for their students
You taught me how to smile again, when I forgot everything before you.
You taught me how to live again, when all I knew was you.
I try my hand at the ©Jacob Serento and © Raine Cooper style.
You are not a teacher.
You are a:
wisdom-imparter
confidence-booster,
esteem-increaser,
fun-creator,
book-reader,
essay-writer,
dedication-inspirer,
love-definer,
joy-inducer,
enthusiasm-evoker,
wonder-explorer,
beauty-demonstrator,
knowledge-sharer,
thrill-designer,
truth-teller,
excitement-architect,
student-encourager,
A friend.
You are not a teacher.
I don't think people realise how much of an impact a teacher can have on the life of a self-conscious, self-loathing teenager with excruciatingly low self-esteem. This poem is dedicated to my wonderful GCSE English teacher who has helped me immensely over the last two years. I wouldn't be me without her. Thanks Miss :)
It's my dying wish
your suffering be equal
to your betrayal.
