Francie Lynch
Above cushioned wall seats,
Where locals sit with dogs
At their feet,
Hang photos
Of footballers
Smiling still after near-forgotten games;
A farmer stands beside his blue ribbon boar;
Horses tethered to carts,
Near soldiers smiling with
The Republic's grimmace of war.

Outside cobbled streets
Lead to stone bridges
Walls and houses,
Near the shade of umbrella trees.
Turrets stop whispers
Wrapping their heights.

Black, white and fading.

Nine o'clock arrives
And pictures shake
From laughter
And music,
The click of dominoes,
And clink of pints,
In the pub life.
All pubs are equal.

ponny jo
cascading beams of moon on glass
the ripples daren't bother.
perfection within glowing lasts,
far farther than did paining tasks.
speak with tells, and soft eyes fast,
lucky crumbles, yet another
mind and heart so full of wonder
fall in skies of blue hued past
putting back the trekking pack,
another.

SG Holter
The Devil took on the shape
Of a city crow.
You should have seen him
Manouver through the streets
On the warm gusts of wind.

Beak silver, feet golden,
Wings as wide as the smile
Of a demon's fresh from
Heaven's grasp.
He turned his head, exposing

An eye; a window to his lack
Of soul, as black as the center of
Nothing. Fresh wounds from
Needles in the arm of a girl
On the pavement below

Were sunsets and rainbows
To him; he croaked with the
Voice of a hundred crying mothers:
Your opened veins are my gates.
Syringe keys and ****** handles.

No single sin is anything
Without the eye that judges it.
Behold: Within the skies above
Is only air, no godly love.

No devil neither rests beneath,
As blade within an earthly sheath.
Behind this blackness you will find
The consciousness of Humankind.

The crow looked up and lifted off
With a giant rustling flap.
Then, mid-air, changed into a dove
Of summer-cloud white; glided above the roof
Tops; became one with the sunlight

That stroked itself across the face
Of the girl in the street.
She looked up at a passing
Child. One that didn't cringe at the look
Of her weary, weathered features, but smiled

As if knowing her.
I swore I could see the chemical veil lift
From her eyes.
Who needs gods or devils, I thought.

Seán Mac Falls
The dark woods circle the clearing.
The marsh birds, safe in their stalks,
Curtains to the yellow,
Cautiously wading.
Wick and wings — wand
Over, under leaves.
Merlin shoots — morning,
Smokes the light
Air.

The woodland birds,
High and low,
Flick and feed,
Soon will turn,
To fallen
Seeds.

By the cresant of the moon,
I'll be waiting
'Til it wanes new.
You'll come.
So I keep waiting...
Waiting..
Waiting for you.

I need a love:
Who moves as a poet writes poetry.

I need a love;
With deft hands
And slow,
Free fingers.

A love;
Who spills their colors in blots,
Without care if it blurs the colloquy.

A love;
Whose soul waltz as fluid as
Ink from a quill painting calligraphy.

Endless-
As the mind is to thought.

Constant-
with no regrets.

I want a love as a poem is to a poet.

Share the love you have in your heart.
Being able to see the universes beauty,
Breathing,
Is all temporary and small
And maraculous.
You never know when the rug will be pulled from under you,
And never will you know how far the vibrations of your crashing will run
And who it will shake.
You never know who slips next.
Time waits for no one.
Appreciate the ones in your life .
Fear not to express your heart,
For it's all that matters.

My friend, I'm not processing that you just aren't here. In my head I'm reliving old laughs and smiles.

Amanda In Scarlet
Take a soft tipped brush
Dip, and trace my nakedness;
Viscous dripping rainbow streams
Clothe me here within our dreams.
Swirl my curves
With satin pink,
Let your brush flutter and sink
lower, purples, red and blue,
I'm a canvas here for you.
Paint me scarlet, paint me gold,
Paint some words
italic, bold
Stop when you begin to weep
A masterpiece, for us to keep.
An old one of mine, a favourite.
Southside Cinderella
Its about a life
full of strife
and heartache
until Jake.

I was young and wild
wanting a child
untamed and strong
but, the dream was wrong.

The life is changed now,
too late for hope now,
those dreams can't come true now,
too late for me and you now.

Now my heart is heavy as a clod,
How will love and god,
when grief and disappointment prevail
put winds back into this sail!

I fear I will hear baby laughter then,
maybe i will pretend
that the jealousy is gone.
I will go on,
angry, but will you see
there is no more baby laughter for me?
Just infertility!
Just an expression of the loss and disappointment of infertility.
