If I died
Would you miss me?
If I lied
Would you forgive me?
If I love you
Would you love me?

I put One above you
Who do you put above me?

If I hate myself
Would you hate with me?
If I find joy above all else
Would you celebrate with me?
If I'm lonely
Would you stay with me?
If I let sin own me
Would you pray with me?
Told Crying Silhouette I would post this.  Tell me what you think.  This is from a ways back in my notebooks.
..
writing your name a thousand times
the line on the paper
would curl up and die

the phrase “love don’t die”
is just a muddled version of
I’d like to lie

don’t make life seem like a fairy tale
books have known endings
stable mendings

we, however, weren't born to get sold

we were born to hold one another
save them from whatever's out there
while we are life's presence
but you cannot believe you can love forever

Just anther devilish smile
The kind that fades after while
A cruel joke like a deep cut
They broke my shell like a nut
The names and hands come like knives
Beating on innocent lives
She tried so hard to be brave
But there was no one she could save
A kiss goodbye soon forgotten
That's proves this world is rotten
If I killed myself tonight,
Would you mind?
Would you even blink your eyes
If you found me dead on the ground?
Would you be disturbed by the way
The blood would be pouring from my open veins?
Would you call me selfish
And hysterically yell my name?
Would you cry the way a mother would,
Or would you cry like my lover should?

So I ask myself sometimes
As I'm lying in the dark,
Would you do any of this things
If I was to take my own life.
Wounds will heal
Over time
Even if it takes
Decades
But the memories that
Came from the pain
Last much longer
I know
I have scars
That mark the pain
Everyone does
But not all
Scars show
Skin is not the only
Surface you can
Break
Hearts
Can be slit
Just as easily
So be careful
Every person is fragile
Some seem more
Breakable
Than others
But not all
Scars show
A heart is not the only
Surface you can
Break

Confidence
Can be shattered
Just as easily
So be careful
Every person is fragile
Confidence can
Be broken
Faster
Than anything else
And it takes so long to
Repair
I know
I have scars
But not all
Scars show

I met her once
a little, blind girl
who had let me
inside her wonderful world.

Yes, she couldn't see,
the girl with eyes bright.
Yet, she loved her world
like she never lost her sight.

She heard the music
of the breeze that blew.
The love for her world,
it only grew.

She acquainted me with
that music she heard,
from the buzz of the bees
to the chirping of the birds.

Yes, she couldn't see
the wonders of life.
Yet, she smiled
without a sign of strife.

She had beautiful eyes
filled with wonder.
I stood speechless and thought
how could God make such a blunder?

She danced and sang
with a graceful twirl.
How she loved her life
the little, blind girl.

She smiled and laughed,
her face filled with joy.
With wonder in her eyes,
she was serene, yet coy.

She felt her world
beneath her tiny fingers
and on me left a mark
that would forever linger.

Yes, she couldn't see
the life that she felt.
Yet, she never showed
the sorrow that she dealt.

Her world was dark.
Yet,  she saw
the Earth's true form
pure and raw.

Yes, she let me in.
But I couldn't overstay.
So, I excused myself politely
and quietly walked away.

I had met her once
a little girl who couldn't see.
Yes, she was a child
but the happiest there could ever be
Probably one of my best works. I'm pretty proud of it. ^_^
I saw,
the brightest smiles
Turn dark,
Grow completely numb.
