Born through a ******,
Symbolising how pure he had to be..
How perfect he would live to be worthy of dying for all our sins..
Holy above all humanity so that if we repent in his name,we may live in his righteousness.
Glory be to the prince of peace,
Oh hail the King! Bless the Lord!
We commemorate his birth because of his greatness beyond measure... Love too big and grace too deep.
Jesus Christ, our reason for the season!
Mary....
how did it feel,
when the Spirit of God overshadowed you?
And God within you began to grow?

Joseph...
how was it to know
you must raise the Son of God,
not your own flesh and blood?
Were you afraid to fail,
as so great a task before you stood?

Shepherds...
how did you feel when you saw
Heaven opened in glorious, blinding Light,
with myriads of angels
singing in the night?
Did it fill you with fright?

Wise men...
how was it to travel
through dust storm, heat, and cold,
mile after mile,
following the Star
wherever God would lead?

Donkey...
how did it feel to carry the mother of God
upon your back so broad?
How did it feel to watch Him laid in a manger bed?
So humble.
So small.
So mild.

How did it feel for all of you who witnessed
His humble, yet glorious birth?
Were you filled with awe and wonder?
At the meek beauty of the King of Kings,
born in a stable?
Did you bow before Him in reverence,
and worship Him?
For He who was laid in a manger bed of wood,
will later die for you upon a Cross, so crude.

This Child you look upon
is the Saviour of everyone.
So yes....
Gaze.
Look upon Him.
With awe and wonder.
The Son of God in a manger.
The Son of God.
Your Saviour.
Blizzard.
Cold.
The snow blows down.
Softly...but fiercely...
to the ground.
White.
White.
Winter white.
The snow-coloured rabbits
are white-washed from sight.
And Christmas is in my heart tonight.
As I learn the way to life and joy.
Thought gratitude and humility.
As I linger by the manger,
and look upon my Saviour.
Who gave up all.
To save us from the Fall.

Blizzard.
Cold.
The snow blows down.
But in my heart a fire glows.
As I begin to know...
To truly know...
The Light of the world.
Shining down.
Shining bright.
Upon the Winter snow tonight.
Chasing my fears.
Away from sight.
Shining bright.
My heart's delight.
Upon Winter white.
Here I am, Lord you always take me with my baggage.
But you Love me enough , to work within me to change me.
For you only wants the very best for me, your Friend.
You could have , had left me upon the junk pile of Life.
But you Loved me enough to go to the Cross for me.
You Love me enough to heal me of all of this junk.
"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Psalms 34:18

Ive already broken
satan's gravtational pull.
Refuse to let him bring me down.
All I can do is go up Lord.
Higher in you.
Lord I'm already broken.
Heart already cut open.
Commence surgery.
Cardiac arrest me.
Let me die to my flesh so that you can renew me.
Clean my heart so that it beats purely.
Flesh of your flesh.
Bone of your bone.
You created me in your image.
Your clone.
So let my ways mirror yours.
Lord be the center of my life.
My core.
Let my heart be patient.
Let my words be kind.
Let my thoughts be pure.
Lord protect my mind.
Though I cry
Lord catch these tears.
Though I stand in the unknown
Lord calm my fears.
Take my hand.
Hold me close.
Lead me beside your still waters.
Don't let me go.
Just know
these words are sincere.
I NEED YOU!
I NEED YOU!
Lord hear my prayer.
This is just a short prayer I wrote that expresses my desire to be closer to God, strong enough to give up the things that would seperate me from him, and humble enough to let him know I need him (forgiveness), especially during times I turn away from him, as well as trial and tribulation.

Stubborn love
faced down the years
of fearful hate
and stared intently as a child
from the stink of a manger
out into the poverty and
the oppression reflected
in captive eyes,
wide with hope
and wet with joy.

Generous love
cried out an almighty peace
into the dark stillness,
heralding a new start
with echoes of ancient promise.

Patient love
reached out with perfect timing
and embraced humanity.

Unfailing love.
Unfailing still.
Initially prompted by phrases used on Radio 4.  The Christmas story never gets old.  The greatest miracle.
From the glorious riches of His Heavenly home.
He came down.
To walk among.
Frail man.
For Love,
He came.
To a dark, cold stable,
He came.
Born among the animals.
Laid in a hay-filled feeding box.
As a wee babe.
He came.
In humility.
In frail humanity.
He lowered Himself.
For Love.
Then...
was mocked.
Scorned.
Rejected.
By frail, sinful man.
Nailed to a cruel cross.
A sinner's sentence.
For Love.
He came.
In humility.
In frail humanity.
He lowered Himself.
For Love.
He laid aside His glorious Kingly crown,
and put on the crown of suffering.
The crown of thorns.
The crown...
of a servant.
For Love.
He came.
In humility.
In frail humanity.
He lowered Himself.
For Love.
My soul awakens.
To this life-giving Truth...
It is when I lower myself
and become a servant.
That I resemble Jesus most.
For it is only when I wear
a Servant's Crown,
that true joy can be found.
Inspired by Phil. 2:7-8, Holy Bible
My song is a song that is rarely sung.
It is not a popular one.
My song is an unfamiliar tune.
Which very few will listen to.
It is a song of Love.
It is my calling from Above.
My song is a song which will revolutionize the world.
And transform the human heart.
My song took Me to a rugged cross.
My song is the song of Sacrifice.
It is not a popular one.
For it is a song of Love.
A song of the rose.
In a world of thorns.
A crown of thorns upon My brow.
I sang My song to rescue all.
From the Fall.
My song is the song of the Lamb.
My song is the song of the great I AM.
My song is a song of Love.
Which very few will listen to.
Will you?
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."--John 3:16.
Suffering was not part of the original plan,
Because when man was created,he was already connected to God-the closeness that we now have to seek existed naturally.
When man sinned,he had to start striving for a better life,a relationship with God,and also the search for wisdom and knowledge.
Suffering draws our hearts closer to God,when man sinned the original relationship was distorted therefore there has to be a way to draw us truly back to God.
When theres suffering, theres deep humility that makes us surrender all to Christ because we acknowledge that our strengths are just not enough.
God wants us to love and trust Him,therefore He is always with us through it all... Sometimes we suffer because God is trying to remind us of His power and glory,to return to Him and not miss heaven.
God loves you and He is very much ALIVE!!
THE all loving God allows suffering, not that He takes pleasure in it but because  He always provides a way out and before we leave through that door,we strengthen our relationship with Him. God doesnt need us,He wants us because He created us and He created us because He loves us. Suffering is not for us to be punished but to learn;endurance, patience, faith,REAL joy and build a strong character.
And other times, people suffer so that other people can learn to be grateful for where they are and what they have. And usually people that serve such a purpose rejoice in their suffering because they know the source of their joy.

I'm tired of being afraid to say I'm a child covered by His Grace, I'm tired of being afraid to say I know His name.

You can be anything you like, but when I say I'm a Christian, suddenly everyone wants a fight.

Everyone tells me how I'm wrong, how I don't belong. Well, this much is true, I'm just a stranger in this works, passing through.

In response to your hate, I will tell you that He is the way. I will tell you that He loves you and died for you, and that He tells you this every day.

Will you turn away from the words I say? Or will you hear what I say and no longer buy into the lying games the Devil plays.

I've been where you're at, lost in the dark. A knife to my wrist and a cold in my heart. It took a glimpse of light for me to see, that I could be free, if I'd only get on my knees and call on His name. He was there and I was saved.

I am not scared to tell you the truth, that without Jesus, you'll loose. He died for you, rose from His tomb and He's alive waiting for you to call no His name, you too can be saved.

I am not scared to tell you that I was bought by blood, saved by grace and He knows my name.

The world had grown dark and silent. For three days all was still. The end had come swiftly, quicker than anyone would have believed it would. From teacher to criminal to death all in a space of one day. There was weeping and fear the day that they took the master away. The followers were scattered and hid in terror behind closed doors. What would become of them was the thought, where would we go from here. Then on the first day of the week, to all who saw it they were amazed. The sealed and guarded tomb was empty, it appeared that he had been taken away. Confusion was rampant among many, his followers and the guards at the tomb were in dismay. Then he appeared at the break of morning, he had come back to show them a new way. The light had dawned on salvation, as darkness finally had to give way. Sin had lost the final battle and righteousness had finally found a way. Redemption was finally realized, all on that very first day.
Believe or not, that is your prerogative, but to me this really happened, on the first day of the week.
