I have tried too many times
reaching out my hand with no kind returns
pulling back my hand to find
just broken fingers, scars, and burns

to tropic breeze

mock spring
frogs, birds sing
fools believe
spring’s arrival

frigid air
soon returns
frost burning
hearts too frail

blue

Will my Soul ever encounter its mate

At times I felt so lost
My sadness deep as sin

What  is  sleep.
Is  it  a  night  long  restful  sleep.
Something  I  never  get.

I  just  lie  tossing  and  turning,
ranting  and  raving.

Nightmares,  and  blasts,
from  the  past.

Oh  what  I'd  give  for
a  good  nights  sleep.
