I lived in a house,
but he was my home.
There's no place like home.

In this world
of complexities
and confusion,
I cry the tears
of those who
cannot see the
pain in their hearts
for their brokenness
touches my soul.
Their suffering
engraved indelibly
in my bones.
Come with me
let's stand in the gap
and intercede for them.
Show them love
they can't deny.
Let the world
see heaven
in your eyes.
Make known the way
to glory and beauty
of an exulted being
that you are.
Nothing is left that
can't be made right.
The heart of man
knows how to care
and love deeply.
Make yourself
available for the sake
of the lost ones
who needs your help.

Robin Carretti
It's like the movie
part of me*
It tells me where I should
go and want to be
Please note that I will say
Not a dark place
inside my suitcase

"Robin Red Breasted" suit
Peck and nip and tuck in place
The rainbow iridescent
Suiting her taste wet rain tents
Everyone was Green with envy
Robin/ Rainbow event lets hear
it for our Army so many
troops

He was sitting politely
Like a salesman of suitcases
on her stoop
She was mesmerized
Living out of a tour suitcase
She wanted daisies she was
ready for fantasies
Of him in her suitcase

Tumbling through
Another time Postman
Singing birds to ring twice
Birds all in groups
Computer laptops she wanted
to be surprised so mysterious
But ready for love ingenious

He laughed not losing sight
Robin eats like a bird
so hilarious
She packed her sunshine
yellow ribbons
she was ready to feed
Those Brooklyn pigeons

Packed suitcase ready for
the love of God
Going frenzy from her fruit loops
Robin Birdie born traveler scoop
Well nested flying South
fully invested
Rocking her flight cradle

Wherever I go or whatever I do
Traveling packs meet
Mr. Ramen noodles
Getting silly splashing puddles

The Spiritual Zen
traveling boots over a shower
He kissed them high up (Eiffel Tower)
Rome Italy wines in love cahoots

The call I'm ready "Amazon" wild
Let us go, child, another story
But the wildcard fresh air
Oh! Dear
The  lightness easy does it
feathering wings the clues fit
Packing my suitcase
Love is a drug of "Europe"
Perfectly fine wine
Always hope with cantaloupe
I just felt to write something about a trip maybe I should have my head flipped but this is what I came up with imaginative being ready holding my heart steady being selective and being ready for anything the birds fly Robin red breast putting her to the test
we were too free, they said.
and as jealousy is wont to do
they built a prison.

but as you know,

there is wonder in movement.

to hear the wind sing
and trample the ground underneath
and feel the blood rush in our veins.

four walls can never be enough.
we break out, again and again,

until they force us to keep still.

and

yet,

keeping still has taught us how to remember

being drowned in shades of concrete and asphalt.
cities that crowd us in
until we forget to breathe.

keeping still has taught us that safety has a price

that if your feet never learn to walk new paths
eventually
they forget to walk at all.

keeping still has taught us to dream

of escaping the grey—
staring up, past the trees and clouds,
and, eyes widening—

seeing for the first time the color of the sky.
realizing,
that even the sky can be trapped
by the borders of a window.

and despite knowing that,
wishing to see the sky

one more time.
flight freedom sky suffocation crushing

The old man lays on the side of the road,
Looking raggedy and feeling old,

Bandanna on his head,
And wearing ripped jeans,
His mind thinks back,
to the good times in his teens,

In the heat of the day,
He sits and he sings,
Only his guitar for company,
as he plucks at the strings

In his hey day he had lived like a king,
Now he sits alone counting his sins,
Remembering all the people who have come and gone, sometimes the day's can seem so long,

In a blink of an eye life can change,
So be kind to other's,
As you bask in your glory,

Don't be so quick to judge,
Because we don't know their story.
Stay open minded, and don't judge someone you know nothing about.

Oh sweet beauty
Natures bloom
Pastel shades to welcome the new
Fewer nights of darkness
Saying goodbye to the unsavoury few and feelings of blue.
Take root and taking in the shine.
Watered by entering spring.
Energy spiking and bringing forward the joy.

Friendships are common
Friends everywhere
But the true ones, oh so rare

The ones who deeply care
Stand by you
In times of despair

Age no bar
There can be many
Whoever they are

Gender no ******
Seasons there are many
Weathering all,  no wonder

Distance does not matter
To meet, need not fly charter
All are neighbours in the heart

True friends are a treasure
In words
One need not measure

Friends that life chose
Hold them aloft , in the heart
Like the fragrance of a Rose
Some thoughts on friendship today .
Keep the child inside you alive .

Happy friendship day to all , stay blessed :)

My 200th post on HP.
Thank you all :)

Deep inside me
I seek what is behold
But I worry
That time has yet to fold

For climate change
And going insane
Are both things
That seem to slowly elevate

Except as the years pass
Alas the speed of change
Picks up its pace
Ice caps soon to disintegrate

And this leaves my insides cold
Apprehension takes a hold
For I fear
The end would be quite drear
And by then every mind
Would be locked inside
A body ready for chaos to unfold

So to stop this
We must not just grab hope
But grab our voices and our feet
And set out to stop our worlds defeat

For to stop this heat
Action is what we need
And we must impede
These greenhouse gases
That people seem to often release

And we must hug the Earth
For it’s here children birth
And grasslands grow
And animals live before death takes hold

So love the Earth
As it loves you
And one day your grandchildren
Will be able to love it too
There's only one Earth
And it's there for you
So why don't we
Be there for it too
I am odd are you odd too?
I have long identified with
His story-a man who lost
So much to s war and who's
Voyage of return is full of
Adventures trying to get
Back to his beloved family;
Penelope .and Telemachus.
These days My television is
On 24 hours a day.  How
Did Homer know but then
He was only retelling a story
From  even more ancient time.
The Word of God tells us He
Is the Word and Homer was
A Child of the Word and His
Story is our story who are its
Sons and Daughters.  We are
Odd but can still find in the
Great myths the retelling of a
Common Life that is always
With us but must be retold
(Best by a campfire with our
Fellow voyagers but then Is
There not always a darkness)
Lest the magic be forgotten.
Let our words be for the fire
