Perhaps

Perhaps I am hard to like,
No one understand how I used my bike.

Perhaps it was me,
          who understood first
of their perspective's meant to be.

Perhaps that is why I stay away,
always a step ahead in my foolish play.

Perhaps you never notice my distance,
for I am alone in this charade of existence.

I love you from one to ten

1) Love is not a sin

2) If we love each other, we both win

3)  Inside your soul you let me in

4) I feel the chemistry when I touch your hand

5) When you said I love you,
I felt the sky touch the sand

6) I am not the same human
When you're not around

7) When I lost my soul, you found

8) You are the one who's very kind

9) If I don't see you, I go blind

10) Let me love you, hope you don't mind

Does this silence have a voice?
Does this darkness have a light?
Does this night have a day?
Does this loner have a fight?
is there good in a world full of so much bad?
Hey everyone,

I'd like to propose a challenge.

Grab a book, any book, and open to page 49.
6th line.
5th word.
Make a poem, and use that word as its title.
Be sure to make sense, and relate the topic to title!

Tag your poems as bookpoemchallenge so I can check them out. I'll be sure to like, comment, add to collection, share the poems which I enjoyed reading.
Best of luck.
Please like and share this so it will trend and more and more people join on this lovely challenge!

I better not be foolish,
I better not betray,
I am His creation,
That's what they say.

I'll be punished,
I'll not have a say,
I'll burn in hell,
If I not pray.

I rather not be proud,
I rather not be 'me'
For He will not forgive,
If I not kneel.

I should not suppose,
Who am I to oppose?
Dare I use my mind!
Dare I act free!

I am born here to follow
I am born here to breathe.
My labours are for Him.
Dare I ever live!

So, I better not be foolish,
I better not be proud,
I am just a part of herd,
And I should simply follow the crowd.

Words are like music,
a melody to your ears.
They provide you comfort
and relieve your fears.

Words are like knives,
straight through your heart.
They are like scissors,
cutting you apart.

Words are like puzzle pieces,
complicated and tough.
They are small and jumbled
with edges, rough.

Words are like the oceans
with their timeless age.
Yet they are of turbulent waves
and of fickle rage.

Words are like needle and thread,
sewing up the seams
of the torn bonds,
making the rips unseen.

Words are like rays of sun.
Shedding light when dark.
Spreading warmth when cold,
then disappearing without a mark.

Words are heard.
Words are spoken.
Some, they mend.
Some leave us broken.

I am energy,
not heaven sent.
I carry the world.
I stand unbent.

I am power,
of silence and sound.
I am no puppet.
I stand unbound.

I am universal,
where truth is spoken.
Night turns to morn.
I stand unbroken
