I didn't fall in love with you.
I stood there unaware.
Unsure If anything was suppose to happen.
While standing I had no purpose to fall,
Not while standing.
I caught myself beneath the waterfall of everything I hoped you'd be.
With one step everything changed.
I fell in love.
Plunging feet first beneath the water that fell on my head.
The beginning of Infatuation.
Like anything else I panicked.
My head completely covered in water.
Soaked in what seemed to be eternity.
My lungs sought the next breath.
To swim in the essence of everything you are.
This beautiful world you keep hidden beneath skin.
I plunged deep.
Swept by the chill that cascaded down my spine.
Deep down a thought arose.
One that never before crossed my mind.
That I have never experienced anything this beautiful.
What if I never reach the top.
To watched a new life start,
To die in the same instance

I went on this diet
where all I could eat was words.
They trudged through my guts
stopped my awareness of reality.

I was hungry
and I craved to speak.
But I wasn’t meant to.
So I snacked privately on solitude.
the night was my mind spinning
and counting up
then regretting
and crying
then regurgitating my sinful mistakes.

On cheat days,
I was allowed to ******* tears.
I binged on the salt all day long.
Until they told me stop,
because I looked too full
of relief.

As the day ended,
my collected tears were thrown down the drain.
And I plated up my words
to begin my meals again.

Bare feet hit the ground as water cascades from the ominous grey clouds that fill the sky

I feel the gentle gusts of wind and light sting of rain against my cheek,
it is in this moment that I awaken from the sleepy trance I was caught in

My nose is filled with the dewy mist that mixes with the air that makes it feel thick

I look about, and see nothing but grass and leaf-filled trees dancing

In the next moment, I realize that I dance too,
Spinning with my arms fully extended,
Feet splashing in the pooling fresh water

A smile extends across my face—
I am free.

One day you will find love

You might find it in the smile of a friendly passerby

You might find it in the lonely stare of cold eyes

You might find it where you thought no one went but you

You might find it in your best friend

You might find it in the middle of the school hall

You may find it where you never expected it to be at all
Or you might find it where you always knew it would be

No matter what you will find it eventually

But be careful
Because if you don't you may lose it forever
Never to feel it again

Nothing

Midnight
Your naked body
Pressed on mine
We kissed

I thought that
I should feel
Something

Thrill, euphoria
Lust, love
Or bliss

But no
I felt
Nothing
And I'm very sorry, I don't know what's wrong with me.  You are everything I have ever wanted, but for some reason touching you leaves me blank.  I feel nothing.  And I am sorry.

If you're going to bleed, bleed sunshine

Spill light from the cuts on your knees

Paint the grey thing in your chest cavity that looks nothing more than scarred tissue gold

Pretend you are the sun

Pretend you are the sun

Might as well scream some, too.

Only call it laughing.

And when you try to explain your sadness to them, let them not understand a word you're saying because you're supposed to

Be the sun

Even though you didn't ask for people to orbit you, they did so

Give them warmth, give them light

One day you'll burn out but

If you're going to bleed, you might as well bleed light.

"getting close to you," she said,
"it felt like skydiving"
her lips were trembling
and her eyes were so sad
"and now my parachute just won't work."

he told me i was beautiful,
the kind of
forever beautiful
that many seek
but can never find.

as his blue eyes
followed not my body,
but my own hazel ones,
they whispered with innocence
that i was the type
of forever beautiful
that one can find
in the sky.
simple,
but elegant.
dressed in so many colors,
but breathtaking at every moment.
not sure which section of this wonderfully long poem is my strongest, maybe you can all help me decide:)
